Searched for quick lunch. Went for this restaurant as it was just perfect for quick takeaway. Since this is a takeaway only restaurant, I could find easy parking too. Ordered chicken dum biryani and it was absolutely delicious. Made with good quality jeerakasala rice. It was well cooked. Chicken pieces were fresh and succulent. Portions are generous. We found it sufficient for 2. Definitely a must try in Thiruvalla.

We had a nightmare food yesterday.. we ordered nadan chicken curry with other dishes.. the chicken curry was ultimate flop. once we opened, It had fermented gravy, informed the restaurant person regarding the same.. he said that because of the container it happened.. but its not an excuse..Next day morning all of us having stomach pain and diarrohea happened.. very very disappointed with the food quality.. Better to need some food inspection required.. pls don't trust their words.. I hope they are not focusing any basic food standards or cooking quality.

Only take away is available and their service is very quick. The quantity of Biriyani on parcel will not be received in any other restaurants in and around Thiruvalla.

Bought 2 pothu thenga fry for rs 600 via zomato. We bought it for our guests but none of them could eat it due to burnt taste. Pukachova ayrunu totally. More than half of the same got wasted. Never expected this from Kanthari.
