Kismat Biriyani

2.5/5 Stars Visited Kismat Biriyani on a Friday afternoon and it was overall a mixed experience. _Ambience:_ 3/5 The restaurant's ambiance was decent for a good dining. _Food:_ 4/5 We tried their chicken biriyani and tasted good . _Service:_ 3/5 The serving staff were providing attentive and friendly service. But the ordering system is self and the delivery of the food takes around 20 mins . _Pricing:_ 2/5 The prices are also very high . We paid around 240 for a single chicken biriyani. The biriyani was good but is it worth that price is questionable !! _Parking:_ 2/5 The lack of parking space was a significant inconvenience.

I had this biriyani on March 29, 2025. Overall, it was a decent and good biriyani--one of the best options available in Thiruvalla, where we don't have many great choices for biriyani. I personally prefer ARB Biriyani slightly more since I enjoy a bit of extra spice. That said, the service was good, and the packaging was excellent. But 240rs for a biriyani seems a little overpriced.

I decided to check out this place after seeing all the positive reviews, but unfortunately, my experience was utterly disappointing!! When I arrived, there were only a few people waiting for their orders. The girl at the front counter was completely absorbed in her phone and didn't acknowledge me or anyone else standing in front of her. After waiting for a while, I asked if anyone was available to take my order. She gave a quick nod but proceeded to ignore me again. Eventually, another staff member came out from the kitchen, and when I asked if anyone could take my order, he spoke to her, and she just giggled. Even after all that, neither she nor anyone else showed any interest in taking my order. At this point, I was fed up with the lack of basic customer service, so I decided not to spend any money here. It's a shame because the reviews were promising, but the staff clearly has NO UNDERSTANDING of basic service etiquette. I won't be returning!!! P.S: I ended up leaving and heading to Big Mouth instead, and I'm so glad I did. The customer service there was fantastic--staff were friendly and attentive. It really shows the difference that good service can make!!

This shop kismat Biriyani is heaven for biryani lovers... attending staff and nice service. biryani taste is awesome..

Now I got trust issues on Google ratings and reviews. Wonder how this restaurant got 4.2 rating. I went to this restaurant after seeing Google ratings. We ordered chicken Biriyani. Literally it was a dead Biriyani. Very bland. It was just billed biriyani rice with some chicken in it. No spice or even salt in it. It is worth only for clicking a photo as the presentation was good and the quantity was enough with 3 pieces of chicken in it. Not worth eating.. The restaurant was having a foul smell and the staff behaviour was like as in a government office..

Just because you mentioned that shop is open till 8:00pm, we drove from faraway place and reached at 7:30pm. That's when you told you are giving only for people pre ordered. Fees frustrated. Just put the time in google till when I can come and order from shop so people aren't made stupid.
