Spices Cafeteria

Waited long to try this place due to poor parking. Finally got in, but totally disappointed. Hygiene was awful -- felt like a local bus stand. Food was just okay. The smell from the toilet was unbearable. Filthy interiors. Only plus: friendly staff and good hospitality.

| Terrible Experience - Not Recommended I had a really disappointing experience here. First of all, it took 30 minutes just for someone to come to our table and take the order. When they finally arrived, they just said "we'll come back later" and didn't even bother to ask what we wanted. The service was extremely slow and unprofessional. We felt completely ignored. On top of that, the atmosphere was uncomfortable -- the place felt cramped and poorly maintained. If you're a tall person, good luck using the washroom! The ceiling is so low that you literally have to bend down to enter. It felt like it was designed for kids, not adults. Overall, bad service, bad design, and zero hospitality. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Total waste to time..

Decent food and service ! Tried their beef ribs manthi and it was worth it... Only main concern here is the height of wash basins which are way too lower for adults...

20 min for a quarter manti n 24 min for dum biriyani, bengali service with 'no value of time'

Excellent food. Servers not that great but manageable. You won't be satisfied but you won't be irritated at the same time. Al Fam superb even though it's bit pricer the taste justifies it. You can definitely check out this place.

There is no raitha/salad with the biriyani here.carry some onions and curd with us otherwise we have to eat a dry biriyani.

Spices thiruvalla were one of the oldest and best restaurant in thiruvalla who served the best grills in town. But now the things has changed a lot. After the renovation the quality has dropped a lot. There's no service for the customers. Hope that spices will come back with it's best.
