An uber place to have kerala's local delicacies in its innate way with a dash of reminiscing. Many a time while driving past through pulimoodu, we had pondered about venturing into Resto 5, and as of last week we relived the moment of giving our taste buds an incredible jolt. Though the hotel was almost densely packed, we were shown our way to a table where we parked complacently. The dining plates were temperature treated, creating a positive impression on any food eater. We ordered appam, Alleppey fish curry, naadan chicken soup,puttu along with some pirattu which was mind boggling. We have had Alleppey fish curries, in the past, from countable prominent hotels in Trivandrum, but this was truly out of the world. Not many hotels you could witness the chef himself taking a stroll,chat chatting with the diners for any culinary improvements what they have to offer, good to know and see that capturing a real time feedback and deciphering it effectively whatever may be the outcome is healthy. Parking options could be sought adjacent to the SBI bank, and also diagonally opposite towards the byroads. Wishing all the best to Sreenath, Gokul, Head chef, sous chef and the whole crew a heap of thanks for providing us with a sumptuous dinner. Suggestion - Healthier restrooms/ toilets are always the gleaning impression of any hotel. Please have a dedicated staff stationed at restrooms to make sure it's evenly serviced!!

Food is of good quality and the ambience is great. Service is a bit slow.

Food is on the top side . The staffs attitude was not that satisfactory. A well dressed lady on the front counter who even serves food is always busy over the phone. I have gone couple of times and I felt her attitude a bit weird, not suitable for that position. She should be shifted to the kitchen or as a cleaning staff where she can be engaged with her phone calls. Management should consider this matter. Next two times when I went to place the order, she wasn't even listening to my order and I had to repeat my order couple of times. Now I will think about dining in there or placing order from there.

The restaurant is really nice.A staff there called Karthika is really friendly.I usually go there to have evening snacks and sometimes noodles and they are really tasty.But the food arrives pretty slow especially noodles the snacks are kinda spicy but still it is tasty.I like the restaurant.

I was in Kerala for a small vacation with family and Mr. Sreenath Nambiar's (owner) made us feel extremely welcomed and catered to all our needs. Ended costing the restaurant for all 3 meals. Would absolutely recommend you to try their Allepy fish curry and Mango fish curry. Great experience!

Good food, clean. Parking. But They dont turn on ac even if asked no family room. Also too much delay even for ready to serve pre prepared meals.

Excellent service and excellent food! Visited the restaurant while on a holiday in December. Kept going back for all the meals during our 2-3 days stop at Trivandrum.

Tried Hamour Fish grill,Mutton stew and ghee rice. All of them are very delicious. One of the good food place in town. A must try spot. Staff are very friendly and served well.
