Hotel Woodlands

Food was very nice. Ordered meals. But given thali meals.. We r expecting Rs 90 meals but they given 140 rs meal. That attitude was not good. But the food was very nice. The dishes is very nice. Side sets are of more than 10 varieties. I will add the pic. Its costly. I will say.we can get veg meals for Rs 70 or 80 also. Not this much items needed if u r a traveller. Eat less while travel.

Dined in the hotel on the way to thekkadi. I drive an ev and so I stopped to refuel both my ev and our tummies. Really Delicious Food, and very convenient for ev users. This vegetarian hotel serves up some truly fantastic dishes. The flavors are vibrant, and the quality of the ingredients is evident. However, what truly sets this place apart is the inclusion of an EV charging station. It allows EV drivers to enjoy a delicious meal while conveniently recharging their vehicles. One good choice when you're looking for a vegetarian restaurant. I've always liked the old woodlands hotel, and this is nothing different. The food is nice, pricing is fine. There is a separate family friendly Air conditioned section too. The uzhunnuvada served here is a must try. The crispiness is beyond explanation. Parking space is also enough. The only problem is that the food is really oily which makes me nauseous, personally speaking.

I ordered a regular vegetarian meal, but they served a thali instead without confirming, which I found quite unprofessional. The cost was around 140, which felt overpriced for what was offered. While there were a variety of side curries, the taste was just average. Overall, it didn't feel like good value for money. Hope this helps others.

Good vegetarian hotel to stop for your meals on a long journey. The food was prepared quick and tasty. The hotel also provided EV charger which I found quite convenient on my long journey.

Extreme bad food, ghee roast and masala dosa without ghee. Arrogant owner. Not recommended at all

Please don't have coffee from here. Too much water and too little milk (similar to the one you used to get in trains earlier. These days railways have improved much).. Also the cashier was too arrogant.. Not recommended at all.. If you're travelling, you have better options at Thodupuzha, Vazhakulam & Muvattupuzha.. You may try the following: Thodupuzha - Aryas, Sri Vinayak, Old monk, Hi range, Malabar Village. Vazhakulam - Dwaraka (Poori bhaji is outstanding) Muvattupuzha - "Idli shop" is extra ordinary, Malabar Village, Kabani, etc.

We ordered 3 masala dosa with High expectations and it's not upto mark !! We didnt like it . The coffee is so bad . Felt like overpriced and overhyped .
