One star off for Dosas taste Had a quick bite of Dosas and tea here during my morning cycling event. It's very close to main road and was neat and clean. Tea was great However the Dosa was not sour the way I preferred. But was hot and crispy. Chutney was good too.

Traveling is a part of my job. And finding hotels to have tasty food is somewhat a task as well. This time I went to Hot pot restaurant. To be fair, the frontage of this shop is nothing worth talking about. I didn't have any expectations walking in. I just wanted to stop the hunger pangs. And so I ordered a pair of vadas and a coffee to go with it. There was a fan above me and the rains helped keep a chilled atmosphere. I had sambhar to dip my Vada in. And I was blown out of my mind by the taste of it. I shall say that they have a really good cook. I have been to quality posh veg restaurants and they would not be able to serve a sambar as well made as this one. Towards the end of my meal, however, one of the flies that were hovering around me landed in my cup of coffee- right on top of the bubbles. And drowned due to a lack of purchase. I tried to get it out fruitlessly. One of the staff came forward and helped me fish out this pest and then offered to bring a new cup of coffee - I didn't refuse either. And so ended my meal. The workers were polite. The food was - well the sambar was perfect. The atmosphere, not so much though.

Very nice place... Quality and taste of food is commendable. Cant stop without mentioning that the quantity is also more than fair. Special Biryani is awesome...

Tasty veg and non-veg food for the common man. Small place, limited seats. You have to park on the road but is usually possible. From the tables, you can watch items being prepared.
