Tried the following items, Aalu porota and paneer kaju curry Rajasthani thali Lussi Badam milk Everything was ok-ok , not so great. But definitely can be considered for a variety experience of Marathi cuisine.

Being a vegetarian myself, i found this small shop a good place to taste North indian food. They have food at a decent rate and it is recommended to those who wish to taste North food. Scooter would be the preferred mode, as there are space constraints to park the car. The roti set is the economical one. Rajasthani thali is also equally good.

Freshly made rotis available. They literally take it from the pan to your plate.. small facility. Quantity is really good. Worth the money. Limited curry options. You will have to take the default curry and eat it.

A restaurant I was very longing to visit since heard about it & not disappointed me. A small unnoticed North Indian restaurant located on Post Office road at Chettiyangadi junction. Tried aloo paratha and tea. Aloo paratha served with sabji and curd. North Indian masala tea gave me nostalgia of north. Tasty and acceptable but not as authentic as in North India. Ambiance is like a dhaba in North India and not recommended for families. No parking spaces. Those who interested in North Indian food can visit once a while.

Located on Post Office Road, Thrissur, Mahaveer Restaurant Bhojanalaya is a small eatery with a typical tea shop style atmosphere. The place has an old, modest look and is not very tidy. I initially ordered masala tea from the menu, but the waiter brought a pre-prepared regular tea, mentioning later that masala tea was not available. The tea was average in taste. When I ordered poori bhaji (40 for 2 pieces), it was served fresh and hot, but the taste was just okay -- nothing extraordinary or particularly authentic North Indian style. At the time of payment, they charged for masala tea (15) despite serving regular tea. After pointing it out, the price was corrected to 10. Parking: No dedicated parking space -- you'll need to park somewhere nearby and walk. Overall, an average experience -- good for a quick bite, but don't expect anything fancy.

Average food with less hygene, update: I had to go to the doctor due mouth infection from the BindiFry we had it from there, dcotor informed me that it could be coz of the masala they used could be old and expired. so guys please be careful while having food from there.

Food is of decent quality here but inside resturant has very limited seats. And here customer service is average. They neatness is also average. Their aloo paratha don't have enough aloo. But puri are very nice here. Also they have very limited options in their menu. If you want to try some rajesthani food in Thrissur you can consider this place. Here coconut chutney is no at all good. As this is north style resturant so get good south Indian taste is difficult. So, you need to consider it. Overall, if you want or chnage you taste for sometime with north Indian flavour with pocket friendly price. You should give a try to this place.

A small hotel. Not a place to sit and enjoy as it is congested. The location is on chettiyangadi junction, post office road, so the shop is always busy.They have to maintain good hygiene. U will find authentic North Indian food there at affordable rates. Mostly these dishes are served at high rates in five star hotels.
