Visited Food Factory in Thrissur recently, and while the restaurant scores points for its decent ambiance, the overall experience was far from comfortable. The air conditioning was not functioning properly, making the place unbearably hot during lunchtime. It was truly irritating and disappointing, especially when you expect a relaxed dining atmosphere. Food quality and service were average at best--not something that would encourage a second visit. The dishes lacked the punch, and the service wasn't particularly attentive either. For a place with such a name and ambiance, the management really needs to step up, especially in maintaining basic comforts and ensuring better quality in food and service.

We visited The Thrissur food factory for lunch while traveling. The place looked good from outside and had good reviews in Google. The food was okay, but the real issue was the spotting of baby cockroach in egg biriyani. Upon notifying the waiter he promptly removed the item and provided the food of our choice. The egg biriyani wasn't billed. Still we felt the food was overpriced and the maintenance was not good. There shouldn't be any cockroach in the kitchen of such a well rated and pricey restaurant.

I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to food factory . We went for lunch and the experience was a disaster from start to finish. The food was subpar, the service was slow and unfriendly, and the ambiance was lacking. We waited for a long time for our orders, and when the food arrived, it was not what we expected. The staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in helping us. The quality of food and service did not match the prices. Unless they improve their service and food quality, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. It was a regrettable experience.

Terrible Experience - Worst Staff & Service! I had an extremely disappointing stay at [Hotel Name]. The staff here have no sense of customer service and seem to take pleasure in fooling guests rather than providing a good experience. They are unprofessional, careless, and lack basic hospitality. The so-called supervisor behaves as if he is doing guests a favor instead of offering proper service. His arrogant attitude makes it seem like he's giving out free food when, in reality, we are paying customers! The management is clearly more interested in money than customer satisfaction, and the entire team lacks basic courtesy. If you expect good service, avoid this place at all costs. There are far better options available.

While biriyani and gravy items are good, roti items lack flavor and are hard to eat. Dry iteams are on the average. Although the service has been slow, the parking area is good, the restroom is spacious, and there is a large dining area. Despite its average taste, this location is a good place to stop on the highway.

"We went there as a family. It took about 20 minutes of continuous calling before someone came to take our order. We ordered parotta, chicken curry, chapathi, fried rice, and paneer masala. Even after that, the food took a long time to arrive. We had asked for tea at the beginning to refresh ourselves from the fatigue of travel, but we only got it when we were about to leave after paying the bill. Similarly, although the juice we ordered was included in the bill, we never received it. The person who took the order never came back. Just as we were about to get into the vehicle, we saw that person making tea. The chicken in the curry was simply boiled and thrown into the gravy. Not a single dish was worth the money we paid. The air conditioning was not working.We went in hoping to relieve the fatigue of our journey, but for us -- including the children -- it only added to the exhaustion. The main problem there was that there was no manager or captain present. Even though the ambience and setup of the place were excellent, there were no staff capable of maintaining that standard. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant.

We had dinner here on January 23, 2025, but unfortunately, it didn't quite hit the mark. The food lacked freshness and flavor, which was a letdown. While the experience was average, we hoped for more. Perhaps it was an off day, but for now, we can only review based on our experience.
