Was there during a festive time at Vaikom temple. Even with the rush they manage to serve well and good. Their chutney is the best one to have, tried it along masala dosa.
I along with my family had my breakfast. Very very tasty traditional kerala dishes like dosa, vada, idly, poori. Also much much cheaper. Very close to Vaikam temple...just walkable.
Enjoyed a good dining experience at this vegetarian hotel near Vaikam Mahadeva Temple. The ambiance was lovely, creating a peaceful atmosphere that complemented the tasty food. The vegetarian dishes were the highlight, especially the Masaladosha and Vada - highly recommended! The service was average, but the cleanliness was impressive. For those visiting Vaikom Mahadeva Temple, this is a good vegetarian option
Tasty food and enjoyed every bite of Dosa and chutney but the ambience and hygiene sucks Went there for breakfast after visiting Vikom temple and they're sold out by 10.30 am which speaks volumes of their tasty food. 2 plates Dosa, 4 banan fries and 2 coffee cost us just 142 Rupees, one third of kochi.
The place is a traditional eatery with benches and desks. For breakfast you get thatt dosa, masala dosa etc with chutney and mulak kootan like how we get in thatt kadas. The food is ok. This is a local food spot and as such the service is hurried and to the point. The space in front could accommodate couple of bikes, for cars you would have to park somewhere along the road
Nice little place for breakfast near Vaikom temple. Masala dosa is good
Visited this hotel because of peoples 4star rating, but I am really disappointed. We had Dosa set with vada , Poori with masala curry and Tea & Coffee. Sambar, Chutney served with dosa, sambar was watery and soury , chutney was tasteless. Tea & Coffee also not upto the mark. We made a mistake by visiting this place.
The place is a little crowded and old fashioned. But the food is tasty enough and the service is heart warming. The place is also kept neat and clean despite being crowded and tiny.
