MRA Bakery & Restaurant (Vadakara)

One of the best restaurants in Vatakara, especially for their Ghee Roast--absolutely delicious, and the chutney complements it perfectly. The food overall is very tasty, and the service is excellent. However, the infrastructure needs improvement. The bakery and restaurant sections are mixed, which disrupts the dining experience. Separating these areas would greatly enhance the overall ambiance. With some updates to the layout and design, this place could truly stand out.

The quality and taste of the food have really declined compared to before. After placing an order, there's a frustrating 30-45 minute wait for the food to arrive. The atmosphere was disappointing as well - it was uncomfortably hot and smoky, even in the AC room.

This is a very big restaurant at Vadakara. They provide a lot of foods like the Arabic, Indian, Chinese, etc. they do have a lot of varieties of ice cream items, Falooda, fruit salad, etc The bakery items is also great. Had seen a lot of varieties which was not seen in other bake. The price is also not on a higher side

MRA Bakery and Coolbar serves some really delicious items. The tea was extremely good, and their wide range of snacks is definitely a highlight -- everything I tried was tasty and satisfying. However, the experience gets affected by the way the place is managed. It's always crowded, yet there's no proper system in place. The staff seemed rushed and a bit too dominating, making customers feel hurried rather than welcomed. It felt like you had to fight your way to place an order, which really takes away from the enjoyment. So, while the food and tea are top-notch, the service and crowd management could really use improvement. Worth a visit for the taste -- just be ready for a bit of a struggle.

Great food spot while traveling. Offers many varieties of dishes. The food was good ,but the plates cleaning were not appropriate as they didn't use hot water. There was also a smudge of dirt on it. But I didn't mind it and wiped it tissue. Very crowded and the parking space fills up quickly.

A good food experience on the way. We had the pleasure of having some great food options, especially fish items. The place seems to be busy all the time as it is also a great bakery with a plenteous selection of Kozhikodan snacks. It has wide seating capacity spread over two floors. We ordered Meals, Fish Fry, Alpham Manti, Veg Fried Rice and some amazing drinks. It is a good option for food enthusiasts.

Today, I experienced extremely poor service from one of your waiters at the Vatakara branch. Despite visiting with my family during a relatively quiet morning period, we were neglected for several minutes before I had to request service. The waiter's attitude was particularly disappointing. He took our order while distracted by numerous phone calls, spoke loudly on the phone, and showed a lack of politeness. When our food arrived, he simply dropped off the dishes without a word and walked away, taking more phone calls. To make matters worse, one item, puttu, was missing from our order. I attempted to flag him down, but he ignored me. This unacceptable behavior made me feel uncomfortable, prompting me to request a meeting with the manager. Unfortunately, the manager was unavailable, so I reported the incident to the staff. As a loyal customer who has enjoyed excellent food and service at your Kochi and Trivandrum branches, I was dismayed by the subpar experience in Vatakara. I hope you will take necessary steps to train your staff and improve the service standards at this location.

It's just a brand name only. Had lagoon chicken biriyani here, for the entire family of 15. No taste at all. Chicken has no meat at all, just the bones only with no masala flavour. Felt like a row meat boiled without masala. Afterall it's cooking, can be best on a day and vises versa.. AC and non AC seating available with Bakery close to it.
