KPG Express Restuarant Leh Ladakh

This is by far one of my most favourite restaurants not only in Leh but in India as well. If you love any kind of Asian food, this is the place to be, no questions asked. Few months ago I dropped in for the first time and since then I have kept visiting this place and also taken all my friends there. I love their chili garlic noodles. It's perfectly spicy with ample veggies and the right amount of sauces. The mutton momos are just the way I like them, juicy with the molten fat with just the right filling. It also comes with a very heartwarming but simple soup that restored my faith in the accompanying soup with momos. For vegetarians, the Veg Jhol Momos are a must try! It comes with a mildly spiced sesame based gravy and each bite is delectable. While this place also serves Nepali thalis, I prefer their a la carte menu over the thalis cause I felt the thalis to be a little overpriced compared to the remaining items. The Bhutanese Ema Dashi which is a cheese based curry of a delicious (not very hot though) Bhutanese chili and other vegetables is amazing with plain rice. It screams comfort food right from the first bite! Last but not the least, I was happily surprised by the Bimbap as well. They don't have a lot of Korean options but they did this one pretty nicely. Almost made like a sushi with more rice stuffing, I could eat a whole plate of it :)

The nepali thakali thali was simply delicious. It had 10 different side dishes along with rice and dal. Spice levels were medium to high, varying from one dish to another. Especially enjoyed the gundruk pickle and veggies. This was a whole new level of experience in itself, where each dish tasted unique and had to be relished slowly. The staff was extremely polite. They also explained the cuisine in detail, when asked. Must visit when in Leh. Location is slightly difficult to find - its on the 1st floor of LBA complex.

During my recent visit to KPG Express, I was delighted to experience authentic Nepali cuisine. Their menu featured a variety of small curries and pickles, presenting a delightful dilemma of choices. Be prepared for some spicy flavors! The well-behaved staff added to the enjoyable dining experience. While there's ample indoor seating, I opted to dine outside, enjoying the pleasant ambiance. For a taste of Nepal served with warmth and hospitality, KPG Express is a wonderful choice.

Special thanks to Pravesh and Ashish who welcomes all the guests with a good smile and specially me.....both of you have a very kind nature.....and always greet other guests with that amazing smile. I always love coming to this place over and over again.....never got bored of your food neither your company, you guys are amazing. Must visit place for all varieties of delicious cuisine they serve, from Indian, Tibetan, Naga, and Nepali to Korean food. Food was not a problem while I was in Leh. Enjoyed dining here.

The Naga, manipuri Thali and especially the Nepali thali is a must try here. Good portion and variety is available.
