Rendezvous Cafe and German Bakery

A bakery service pies, cakes, croissants, breads etc.. Their quality was good 4yrs back. Now its lost . Choco croissant was pathetic. Felt like eating normal hard bread with some chocolate.

The Rendevous Cafe and German Bakery, is a bright spot in the food courtyard of the LBA Complex. It serves backpacker favourites such as milk porridge and cornflakes, apart from combo English breakfasts and excellent cakes, croissants and doughnuts from German Bakery. I ordered a banana honey porridge and wasn't disappointed. It was a huge bowl, which could easily serve two, had enough milk, and hadn't been overcooked to gooeyness. The banana slices were neither overripe nor underripe. All in all, a great breakfast in a sunny courtyard under a sun umbrella.

The man at this bakery is a cheat. We ordered 8 cookies and he packed only 7 and charged us for 8. He also charged us extra for apricot cheesecake.

Very delicious breakfast and good selection to choose from: from omelettes with different ingredients, to cakes of different styles, also pancakes ;-) really good price for value. Different types of really good coffee - capuccino, espresso, etc you can get from a stall just across ;-)

We often had breakfast here (English breakfast or bakery products) and also nad lunch/dinner at their restaurant. Friendly people, quiete place and good food. We're gonna miss it!

Cookie is good . I tried coconut and peanut cookie. but cheesecake was not good. It was hard and seemed to be stale

Really good place which serves amazing yak cheese sandwiches and yak cheese cake which are must try in Leh. You can even purchase yak cheese to take home.
