The Urban Garden Restaurant Leh

I recently tried the Chilli Potato at Urban Garden Restaurant, and I was disappointed. The dish was far too oily, which overwhelmed the flavors and made it heavy and unpleasant to eat. A little less oil would have made a big difference in the overall experience. Unfortunately, it didn't meet my expectations.

I've been to The Urban Garden Restaurant a few times and had a wonderful each time. Coffee at sunset, tandoori chicken for dinner or some delicious appetizers. We were lucky enough to catch a live performance too and were welcomed by the owner Mr Zahir to dance our hearts out. I must congratulate the chef on perfectly prepared dishes that have been consistent in flavour. Even the accompaniments like the salads and chutneys are very home like and authentic. All in all an absolute must visit if you are staying in Leh.

One of the lesser visited places in Leh tucked in a corner of Changspa near Gomang Maney, few steps before the Gomang hotel Kofuku is a heaven for Japanese & Korean food lovers. I went there with my friends & it was empty...to be honest I had my apprehensions about the food as we were the only customers but was really amazed with the quality of food. The ambience is amazing, cleanliness is top notch. The washrooms smells good & is super clean. Must visit place for authentic Korean & Japanese food. Highly recommended if you are in Leh. Lesson learnt Don't judge a book by it's cover.

I had the most wonderful zen moments in the Leh Kofuku restaurant. I was so lucky to find this hidden gem as it is a bit outside the hustle and the bustle. It is in a peaceful location next to the river. It all happened because I had asked someone in Delhi for the best restaurant in town. He answered Kofuku. I was so Happy when I reached my hotel in Leh and immediately discovered the same restaurant here. The staff was so friendly. They went out of their way for me. A special mention to Uju who was so caring. I was server like a princess.

The waiters at The Urban Garden Restaurant are attentive and hospitable, ensuring that every guest is well taken care of. They provide excellent service with a smile, making you feel like a valued patron.

Stayed there for 2 nights. Great food, excellent cooking. Staff there is very helpful, polite, swift. The restaurant is just out of the world. View from the room is great, it overlooks a stream of water and then you get to see Shanti stupa. Very peaceful.

Good hospitality, and limited food since we were traveled in off-season. But the living rooms are stunning. This hotel is centrally heated, so it helps to keep warm in -16 degree temperature.

If you want to experience fine dining in Leh, this is the place. Exhaustive menu of Japanese and Korean dishes. Great ambiance. Perfect for a family outing.
