The Yeti Kitchen

Dined in at this place, I had a craving for some chilli potatoes and chilli chicken specifically. They were absolutely delicious, spicy, smoky, soft, chicken was well cooked. The ambiance is great, they even run a hotel above, they play really good music as well. I ordered some mushroom and tomato soup as well, it was peppery and creamy. Although, the quantity of the food can be improved a little. They have a lot of options in their menu. Must visit this place of you are in Leh.

The Yeti Kitchen is a relatively new independent eatery on Chubi Road, with an eclectic menu of Indian, Italian and Tibetan cuisine. The quality of the food is good and if standards are maintained, there's no reason why it shouldn't become a popular hangout on guesthouses and hotels cluttered Chubi Road. The restaurant has both an indoor dining area on the ground floor, as well as a funky semi-open dining area, accessed by a beautiful wooden staircase, on the first floor. This terrace space would be ideal to chill with a beer in the Ladakhi summer, but sadly bar licenses are hard to come by. There're fine mountain and countryside views, as well as a side-view of the Leh Palace, not far from here.

First of all the ambiance is amazing, super cozy and the first floor is truly Instagramable for those who want to post it on social media. Now coming to the food, believe it or not, food is the highlight of the restaurant not the ambiance as it's damn good!! Make sure to visit this place on your trip here!

Very friendly young staff. Food was delicious. Not everything on the menu was available. I recommend this restaurant.

Giving one star cause can't rate lower. Couldn't even get to ordering cause the service staff was listening to songs in the kitchen and wouldn't come out to take the order. When I went to knock, they didn't even turn back and refused to take the order. Never had such a pathetic experience before

My husband and I ate here at least three times during our stay at New Dawn Guesthouse because it was right next to our hotel. We ordered the paneer butter masala, and they were even gracious enough to trade the paneer for aloo! Unfortunately the tandoori oven was not operating when we went so we didn't get to try the Naan but other than that no complaints!
