Plastic Pieces in food. Less than lame staff response. Diminishing grooming standards of staff. Ambience takes a back seat automatically. Not a standard Haldiram Experience. Regards

Haldiram Restaurant in Jabalpur offers a mixed dining experience characterized by some standout items like burgers but marred by inconsistent food quality and high prices for certain dishes.

Ordered Raj kachori and Paneer paratha. While the raj kachori was good and up to haldiram standards, Paneer paratha was nothing less than pathetic. Barely any Paneer, no paratha masala or onion or anything. Felt like worth 10 Rs grated Paneer or cheese and bit of chilli flakes and salt. Literally waste of 160 Rs. Adding to it there is no lift to the restaurant, though the building has lift. You need to sit on cafe like iron chairs. Just hopeless.

I did not find the in-dine experience as a standout option. 1. Taste: Food is tasty but it will not make you order twice. 2. Quality: With Haldiram, you expect a certain quality which is maintained but again, nothing that differentiates 3. Variety: Good variety; They have Dosa, Chaat, Pav Bhaji, Thali that caters to all age-groups and moods. 4. Seating: It is good for young teens and office crowd or friends but may not work very well in a family setting with elders as you have to take the stairs. 5. Price: I felt the price is over-the-top for what is offered on the table. To take an example, when something very simple, but costing Rs. 250, is put on your table, you do take a double look at what is offered and how it differs, one may feel disappointed. Overall: I felt that it is trying to take good things from specific places and trying to create a brand. But I would rather: 1. Prefer ICH: For dosa, idli or similar cuisine, cheaper and better taste. 2. Prefer Asanzo: For Coffee, Chaat etc.. Similar priced, similar seating but better ambience. Maybe if the pricing get a bit competitive, this might work for normal visits. For now, I would only visit in-dine when necessary.

Once again I wasn't disappointed here. Everything went well and we enjoyed the food once again. The only thing I realised was, that we have to submit the slip for the order at the counter after the billing, which was not there before. Rest was the best as usual.

This was my first visit to this branch staff is friendly and helpful well groomed. The ambience is nice and kids friendly. Food is awesome as always. Their Veggies cheese burger is my all time favourite.
