Midway Treat Lakhnadon

I recently visited Midway Treat near Jabalpur while traveling, mainly because of its impressive 4.8 rating on Google Maps. Given such a high rating, I expected a great experience, but unfortunately, my visit was far from satisfying. The biggest disappointment was the service. I had to wait for more than 30 minutes to get my order, not because the place was full, but because the staff was busy attending to a birthday party that was happening there. It felt like they completely forgot about the regular customers. When I finally got my order, I was already frustrated. Coming to the food, it was just okay--nothing special. I wouldn't say it was bad, but it wasn't memorable either. It lacked any unique flavors or special touch that would make me want to visit again. The name "Midway Treat" seemed quite fitting because the experience was truly mid. Another concern was the hygiene. The place could definitely use some improvements in cleanliness. While the seating area was decent, I noticed that the tables were not cleaned properly, and the overall maintenance of the place was not up to the mark. Considering this is a highway restaurant and gets a lot of travelers, I expected better hygiene standards. Overall, I went there because of the high Google rating, but in hindsight, it was a mistake. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you have no other option. There are probably better eateries nearby that serve similar food without the long wait times and compromised hygiene. If the management focuses on better service and cleanliness, it might live up to its online reputation, but for now, it's overrated.

Great service and home-like food. Dal rice or thaali is a must try! Filling thaali - bowl of rice, three chapatis and one slice of roti with two sabjis (one paneer) and dal. Cherry curd raita can be avoided, unless you have a sweet tooth.

Atmosphere is little better, I have ordered veg thali by seeing other reviews but was not that great there is no curry or salad for pulao i won't recommend this for Lunch for south indians

Good place, but should be maintained well. Service can get better. The staff seemed very unprofessional, might need training I guess. But the place is good with a lot of parking space. Rest room can also be maintained well. Food was good and served hot. The service and bit late too.

Very poor experience. Serving Tea only took 45 minutes. Employed persons are not even bothered about customers waiting. No response given on calling them. Ambiance was untidy. Toilets were also not cleaned. I will never recommend to get into this midway treat of lakhnadon

Food is good but you need to tell them the taste you want as well as Vegetables in your sabzi. City to city ingredients will differ. Garden outside hotel is really good. Service is little slow you should enjoy the vide of city. Within that location that is the only one restro for good food. If you are visiting Lakhnadon you should visit this place for food. Then you should also explore local gulab Jamon with Rabdi. Overall good place to visit.

Midway Treats on Madhya Pradesh highways are a blessing. I had another awesome experience at Midway Treat at Lakhnadon. One must try their vegetarian thali. They cook everything fresh, the thali had 2 types of bread - tawa roti and parantha, paneer bhurji with matar, Shahi paneer, daal, dahi, paapad, jeera rice. It was too much food for one person. But the food was so delicious that I finished the thali. I Highly recommend this place. Staff is courteous. Place is well maintained and hygienic. Restrooms were clean.
