Stay Review: A Peaceful Getaway Near Satpura Tiger Reserve (Madhai Gate) If you're planning a trip to Satpura Tiger Reserve, especially near the Madhai Gate, this cozy resort stay was a fantastic experience--here's why: Location The resort is just 800 meters from the Madhai Gate, which makes it incredibly convenient for safaris. We actually walked to the gate early in the morning for our safari--it was peaceful, walking through the village and added to the experience! Rooms & Cleanliness Our room was neat, clean, and well-maintained--simple yet comfortable. The surroundings were calm, and we really appreciated the quiet, nature-immersed vibe. Activities & Amenities The resort has activities for both kids and adults: Carrom, Table Tennis, and a swimming pool (under construction in March 2025 during our visit). It's a good space to unwind between safari rides, especially if you're traveling with family. Travel & Transfers We arrived early at 4 AM via train from Delhi at Sohagpur station, and the resort was kind enough to book an auto for us in advance. The ride from the railway station to the resort took around 1 hour, and everything was smooth. Overall Impression Great location, decent amenities, family-friendly, and very close to the gate--this resort makes for a convenient and relaxing base if you're exploring Satpura National Park.

My daughter accompanied me to this place on 23rd March. A beautiful place to stay amongst nature. Mr. Arif. at the reception is very helpful . I strongly recommend this place to fellow travellers.

This place is at a walking distance from the Madhai gate of Satpura Tiger Reserve. The rooms are spacious and staff is extremely courteous but the best part of the place is their food. Their veg and non veg options have a variety and taste was 10/10 with optimum quantity. Their hospitality is wholesome. They arranged vehicles and also dropped us on a bike as we were getting late for our safari. Only one suggestion I would have that it would be appreciated if the bathroom had a bin and I don't have any complain about the place in general. We had a pleasant time and its a wonderful place to stay with friends and family or one's partner. I recommend this resort and would love to revisit.

Food facilities was very poor. They charge for water bottles extra on room charges.

A very decent resort to tay with family and friends. We had even taken our Pet with us with prior permission from owner of resort. Very hospitable staff, big rooms, very near to MP Tourism counters for Jungle Safari, Madhai river and boating. Good food, less spicy and delicious. Special thanks to the team at Madhai Resort!

Best location for taking a safari at Madhai gate of Satpura Tiger reserve. Even if not going for a safari, the resort is ideal for a relaxed stay with family. The place is near the river, and offers good service and amazing food. The rooms are well maintained and clean. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early before time. Every staff member I encountered from the valet of check in were extremely helpful and always eager to help. The food was also finger licking .

We stayed with friends in heritage cottages for 3 nights during weekdays, rooms were clean and ample space. The property is quiet and good for groups looking for private space during weekdays. Service, Food, Ambience, Hygiene is good. Kitchen service is pure veg and has limited time service.

Booked 3 rooms for 9 members for 1 night, checked in on 13.07.24.Experience not good would not recommed for anyone: 1. Huge heaps of contruction material just in front of rooms. 2. Rooms not well maintained, torn beedsheets, insects in rooms, amenities mentioned in goibibo not present in room. 3. Water inside bathroom flowing from walls as overhead tank got filled. 4.Frequent power cuts and hotel took minimum 15-20 mins to switch on generators. 5.Service quite slow. Raised a concern to goibibo, interestingly hotel denied everything and told they provided discount of 10% which also is a lie on hotel part. Let photos speak the rest.
