His exceptional hospitality made us feel right at home!||Miss Neha, the Naturalist, was phenomenal! She shared her vast knowledge of jungle nature, wild animals, and insects with my daughter, who was absolutely fascinated. The documentaries she showed added an extra layer of excitement to our stay. My daughter bonded with her in no time, and we're grateful for the experience.||And, Chef Arun deserves a special mention! His authentic food was delicious, and his humility was impressive. He'd eagerly await our reactions to each dish, which added a personal touch to our dining experience. The salads, South Indian thali, and continental food were all top-notch!|Entire hotel staff was very humble. |Overall, Hotel Denwa exceeded our expectations. One of the best wild life experiences of my life. The place, people, hospitality, forest all were amazing. Excellent cottages, fully equipped while being environment friendly. Food is AMAZING- serving a lot of variety. Knowledgeable naturalists, accommodating and always welcoming staff. Great singhtings in the jungle. Luxury experience. Special|Shout out to Rhea our assigned naturalist who made every safari memorable. Kshitij and Neha for being there and smilingly welcoming us every time we entered the property and guiding us. Highly recommend.

This is a wonderful place to experience the Indian wilderness. Remote is putting it kindly but the staff, the hotel amenities and the food were all first class.||I came here expecting to see leopards and sloth bears. I did see plenty of bears but not leopards. Tiger numbers had increased significantly and as a result leopards were hard to find.||I visited several parks after Satpura but the tiger and bear encounters here were the best of the whole trip.||A special shout out to the naturalist assigned to me for the safaris. Rhea is brilliant and I feel very lucky to have had such a great guide.

One of our favorite Pugdundee lodges. Beautiful large rooms, delicious food and great staff, close to the river to access the park. Excellent naturalists who do their very best to find the wildlife you come for.

This place is one of those rare gems that have been thoughtfully designed and well executed and run by passionate and dedicated staff. I'm glad we decided to do a family trip to Satpura reserve with Pugdundee safaris. Their cottages are well designed and cleaned efficiently. Their meals are thoughtful and the new chef is very smart and open to customisation as well. Their processes are designed to minimise wastage, the resort really tries to leave a lesser carbon footprint. The manager is well in control and the entire service staff facing the customers is humble and well trained. The safari naturalists are passionate and very knowledgeable. They provide a good experience while taking care of the rules. We had a sustainable and comfortable experience. From aged parents to kid, all were comfortable and enjoyed safaris based out of this stay. Very highly recommended

Me and my 12 year old daughter were visiting Satpura tiger reserve and we chose Pugdundee Denwa Backwaters Escape (DBE from now on for our stay, having stayed with Pugdundee resorts before in Pench. Right from onset ..it was a wonderful experience at DBE..the quaint entry leads the way to a beautiful well laid out 8 cottages ( each with its private terrace ), 2 treehouses and beautiful dining area , pool, even a kitchen garden. The rooms are fabulous, with breathtaking views of the Denwa river... comfortable and beautiful. All amenities in the rooms are ecologically sound choices.. whether its the tea coffee station...or toiletries everything from handwash to your hair conditioner is available from a dispenser. A yoga mat is provided for those who practice everyday. Small reminders are put out everywhere so the guests are mindful. The naturalist on all our Safari's Ms. Saumya was super enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The meals are simply delectable , even elaborate one may say ...with different foods at every meal. They try and practice farm to table concept wherever they can ..using their grown greens for vegetables and salads and condiments. They also offered to do custom meals if one required. All the staff is kind, generous and they even love a good chat if one wishes to know more about the forest or even anything else. We had a fabulous stay. I would choose to stay here again if we are at Satpura anytime.

What a fantastic lodge. The staff couldn't do enough for you. The manager was always there to greet & check in with you . The food was delicious & plentiful. The scenery & room views were breathtaking. I couldn't fault anything. I was made to feel so welcome. This lodge is of a very high standard. My guide was amazing. Her knowledge & passion for the wildlife was inspirational. I learnt so much. Thank you for such a wonderful stay & I will definitely be back again.

Set inside the buffer zone of Satpura National Park, the lodge is perfect for nature lovers. You will love it's commitment to sustainability - from zero plastic, minimal single-use, solar, water bodies and native trees. I loved their attention to detail.|A big shout out to the Head Chef Arun who was simply BRILLIANT and the team in the dining hall (Samir, Saroj, Ravinder and others) who took care of my specific dietary needs. The Super management team of Prashant and Karun, who made us feel so welcome. The passionate naturalists led by Kshitij. And Purushottam who welcomed us every time.|Look out for the design elements- Kassod motifs, tiger embossing and minimalistic wooden (repurposed), iron structures. |Strongly recommend this place to those who really care about the planet.
