Singinawa Jungle Lodge Kanha

Spent four nights at Singinawa and every aspect of my stay was wonderful. Tremendous attention to detail, from the tiger print cookies, to the books and bird lists in the rooms. Food was excellent and the staff attentive and thoughtful - nothing was too much for them. Kaka was my guide for the four days and he is a wealth of knowledge and a pleasure to spend time with. We ticked more than 100 species of birds, plus dream tiger sightings. Singinawa shot well above my expectations - it's a peaceful and extremely well run lodge, that ensures a top quality safari experience. What a find!

Singinawa was wonderful in every way! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would have liked to stay longer than our three nights.|It sits in the surrounding forest seamlessly and the buildings are beautiful. We stayed in the Sloth Bear cottage which was charmingly themed on the stunning animal. The cottage was very comfortable and spacious as was the bathroom with double sinks and a good shower with plenty of hot water.|All the staff were lovely - attentive and friendly. |We were greeted when we arrived by our driver guide naturalist, Kaka and he looked after us for our complete stay, both in and out of the Park. He was a wonderful wildlife spotter as well as a genuinely lovely man. Thank you Kaka, we will always remember our first tiger viewing with you!

I think there's just one phrase that encompasses our experience at Singinawa- attention to detail. The property is located reasonably close to the Mukki gate and in the buffer zone- we saw so many langurs and deer right outside our room so many times! The rooms are spacious, neat and so thoughtfully put together - right from the coffee table books on nature, art and wildlife to the handcrafted stationery and the welcome basket with the adorable pug mark cookies. ||The food is homely and truly delicious! Each meal is well planned, taking into account your suggestions and prepared with wholesome ingredients. The lodge also organizes several activities like a nature walk, stargazing, tribal dance and since we were there during holi, we participated in a lovely holi celebration as well - complete with organic colours and thandai (and more!) in the day and a bonfire barbeque dinner in the evening.||A very special mention to Dheeraj and Piyush who have made our stay at Singinawa more than comfortable every single time and I would return again, without a doubt. Everyone from the servers to the cleaners were so thorough with their work and always greeted us with a smiling face. ||Also, the property has a lovely pool, a spa and a cute souvenir store to pick up stuff for your f&f.||Thank you to the entire team! We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We spent three nights in this wonderful lodge, incorporating five game drives. Everything about our stay was outstanding. The cottage was beautifully atmospheric; the food was of an exceptionally high standard; every member of staff was attentive, friendly and determined to make our stay as memorable as possible. Great attention to detail, which is a credit to all the staff and especially the manager, Shankar. Our driver/main guide, Urjit, was brilliant: amenable, knowledgeable, great company, and with a fantastic nose for tigers! We would recommend the experience at this lodge to anyone.

I would rate the place a 10 but then you won't take it seriously. I have been a safari enthusiast for about 10 years and there are many places I have been. This experience however is the best and I am not talking about the safari. Singinawa Jungle Lodge (SJL) close to the Mukki gate, is located in the buffer zone of the forest so when you reach your cottage and your ride - the electric rickshaw-leaves, it is pretty much you and the jungle with deer lazily grazing around. The attention to detail is just brilliant. No stone is left unturned to make your stay special. With an early morning pre-safari hot breakfast with the option of treating yourself to a swig of brandy to ward off the early morning chills, to a lavish spread to be had in the jungle (Kanha morning safaris are for about five and a half hours) is pure amazing. Kathi rolls, sandwiches, muffins along with a French press fresh brewed coffee in the jungle, is pure royalty by my standards. The resort food is homely but delicious; great programmes almost every evening; staff so polite and attentive to your needs, honestly, I cannot find any reason to complain even if I wanted to. Special shout out to Piyush who made everything so wonderful. Keep up the great work SJL...cant wait to be back

Beautiful 'cabins' set amongst a well maintained forest garden. Cabins have a huge bedroom with sitting area and writing desk. Spacious bathroom. Excellent air conditioning. Outside patio with table and chairs. Main lodge is a beautiful stone building. Food was excellent and they were able to cater to my wife's dietary needs- several food intolerances- by creating appropriate alternative dishes for her. Service was impeccable in every way. You get 5 star treatment from arrival to departure. Cannot recommend highly enough.|Also made special arrangements, unbeknownst to me, for the celebration of my 70th birthday

The best part of the visit was the arrangement they did, the minute I told them thats there's a birthday in the family. It was last minute information, but they were very helpful and did a good arrangement - cake, balloons, etc. |A special mention to Piyush from Front Office, who coordinated it all and never once said no! The resort and overall hospitality is great too.

Loved the lodge... The vibe is awesome ||Had an amazing experience. The lodge was elegantly appointed. The service and food were absolutely amazing. Nothing can match the warmth and service that the team gave us. And yes the safaris were amazing
