Customer Reviews & Testimonials

Absolutely disappointed with my visit to Shahi darbar . The waiter Aditya's condescending attitude made the experience unbearable from the start. When the food finally arrived after an extended wait, it was mediocre at best--overcooked and tasteless. The prices were exorbitant for such low-quality dishes. Save your money and avoid this place unless you enjoy paying for pretentiousness and disappointment.

Not worth visiting, i went solo and they ignored me for the entire meal. 1. Starting review with restaurant front side road - water clogged 2. Food - ok ok, chicken biryani's tasted good. I had grilled chicken lollipop.. but they gave kfc chicken. Took coke later. 3. Service: worst. I had to literally ask for every basic thing one by one... No tissues, no spoon, no fork at table. Even when i asked for a finger bowl, they first said they don't provide it. But when another family asked for it, they gave it to them. When i mentioned the same that the other family got it, they gave me a finger bowl with cold water. Hygiene: While having my food, one guy is sweeping in front of my table. Sweeping in an AC room while others are having dinner, No common sense at all.

I have visited this place twice and it was just amazing. The taste was mesmerizing and the ambience was also good. I have order chicken kepsa rice and murg musalam which was so tasty. Later I order soup which was also yummy and after some time we order this full fish which was mouth watering and chicken dum Biryani was also good and later for sweet we order firni which was also good in taste. So as per order every food was so yummy .....

I've been a loyal customer of Shahi Darbar for 2 years and have always enjoyed their food. It has been my go-to place for non-vegetarian dishes. However, my recent visit left me deeply disappointed. To start, the food's taste wasn't up to the mark. The dishes that were once rich in flavor and highly satisfying now felt dull and lacked the quality I had previously admired. On top of that, the prices have increased significantly, by nearly 55%. We ordered 2 starters, 1 chicken tikka curry (full), and 3 naans, which cost us 1400. The same meal used to cost around 900 just a few months ago. The quantity was another letdown. The chicken tikka curry (full), priced at 495, included only 7 small pieces of chicken. These pieces were gone after the first serving, leaving us with a bowl full of gravy - not worth the price at all. While the portion size is mentioned in the menu, it still feels inadequate for what they're charging. It seems Shahi Darbar has become overpriced, likely due to the lack of good non-vegetarian dining options in the city. As a loyal customer for 2 years, it's disheartening to see the decline in both quality and value. Unless things improve, I might have to look elsewhere for a better experience.

The behavior of the staff is very rude. Here the customer's mood is determined by the clothes. There was a box jam of salt on our table, so we asked for a separate salt box to which the restaurant employee gave us a bowl of salt. What to understand for now... How can anyone eat a bowl of salt for a decade.

The food was average, prices were a little higher for the food and the ambience was nice but the worst experience was that they were selling cold drinks with mrp of 20rs for 25rs which is illegal and didn't accept that it was wrong

If you are die hard non vegetarian do try Shahi Darbar. Great variety of non veg food. However, the tandoori roti is not good in taste.

I recently visited shahi darbar, and my experience was deeply disappointing. The food was delayed for an unreasonable amount of time, leaving us waiting far longer than expected. When it finally arrived, the service was shockingly poor. The waiter not only seemed indifferent to our concerns but outright refused to serve the food onto our plates, which felt disrespectful and unprofessional. Staff is very rude. While I understand that busy times can cause delays, the lack of courtesy and effort to make up for the poor service was unacceptable. This experience was far from what I had hoped for.
