"Apna Sweets in Ujjain is a great spot for breakfast and snacks! I tried their Poha, Samosa, and Jalebi. The Poha was top-notch, and the Samosa was awesome. While the Jalebi didn't quite hit the mark for me, the overall experience was good. Service could use a bit of improvement, particularly in terms of politeness and humility from the staff. However, since food taste is paramount, I'd give it 4 out of 5 stars. If you're coming from Ujjain Junction, take the exit from the back side (Platform 8) and it's about 2 km from there. Worth a visit for the delicious Poha and Samosa!"

I am writing to formally raise a complaint about a deeply disappointing and unpleasant experience at a restaurant located near the Mahakal Temple. This establishment engages in highly unprofessional and deceptive practices that not only inconvenience customers but also show a complete lack of courtesy and hospitality. Upon arrival, the staff eagerly invited us in with welcoming words such as "Sir, please come in, we have South Indian dishes and more." However, once we were seated with our family and ready to place the order, the staff abruptly informed us--after a delay of 5 minutes--that only a "thali" was available and all other dishes were suddenly not being served. This bait-and-switch tactic appears to be a deliberate attempt to lure customers under false pretenses. When we expressed our dissatisfaction and chose not to proceed with the limited option, the staff became rude and argumentative--not only with me but also in front of my family. The staff showed no respect or basic manners in handling the situation and spoke in an aggressive and disrespectful tone. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, especially in a place that receives many visitors and pilgrims. It reflects poorly on the local hospitality standards and gives a bad impression to those who travel from afar to visit such a revered location. I urge the concerned authorities to look into this matter seriously and take necessary actions against such establishments that cheat and mistreat their customers. No one should be subjected to such dishonesty and disrespect.

We were a large group and visited this place for breakfast -- and it turned out to be one of the best breakfasts we've ever had! From kachori, jalebi, poha to khaman -- everything was freshly made in pure ghee, as we went early in the morning. Highly recommended for a delicious and authentic breakfast experience in Ujjain.

Took token of panipuri , garadu and jalebi, had panipuri not so good, then handed over the token to garadu and jalebi guy, he forgot that I handed over the token to him, arguing with me that you went to had panipuri, not accepting his mistake but blaming me unnecessarily.

Staff is very rude and service is very pathetic. They don't talk politely at all. Unnecessary irritate customer with harsh service Most of the dishes are unavailable from menu

Big positive: This shop opens early in morning and good place to have breakfast like poha, jalabi, imarti etc. Big negative: Tea is prepared with coffee machine stem. Should be good if they have proper setup of tea.

One of the places you can eat local foods of ujjain. The food was average. Hygiene can be improved for sure. The sweets specially the milk cake is just mind blowing and the namkeen also is also very good from here.

Visited this place many times, I regularly visit to the Apna sweets Tarantal, UJJAIN. I tried breakfast, lunch, brunch, dinner all meals and all are good for family and friends makes this place a single stop for all pure vegetarian peoples. Even i also tried their corporate buffet. They serve quality and tasty food to all. Overall Recommended, price to quantity ratio is good, the only downside is they have token system so if you have a big group then you have to recharge card multiple times which is so frustrating.
