A good veg restaurant serving South Indian recipes and more. The idli and wada i tried was good. The quality was average since the name indicates South Indian speciality. Unfortunately the service was pathetic. So it's an average to good ranking restaurant. I had wish for more authentic food though. But that's ok, I guess.

Best treat for South-Indian-food lovers. All south indian dishes are available..with authentic uddupi taste.... Pure veg restaurent has also started recently. That too is very good.

Absolutely Disappointing Experience - Avoid Hotel Smabhar, Ahmednagar I had one of the worst customer service experiences ever with Hotel Smabhar, Ahmednagar. I ordered four pav bhaji through Zomato and clearly requested 10 extra pavs and 5 extra papads along with the order. When the delivery arrived, I was shocked to see that the extra pavs and papads were missing completely. I immediately contacted the Zomato delivery executive, who clarified that they only deliver what is packed by the hotel, and advised me to call the hotel directly. On calling the hotel, a rude and unprofessional lady answered the phone. I politely asked why the extra items were not sent and whether they were unavailable. At first, she admitted that it was her mistake, claiming that due to order confusion at the hotel, she had accidentally selected "no" for the extra pavs and papads. When I pointed out that this meant we had received only half the order, her tone immediately turned hostile and disrespectful. She started lying blatantly, now saying that the items were not available--completely contradicting her earlier admission. The conversation was not only frustrating but also extremely unprofessional. I have attached the call recording belowso you can hear for yourself how rudely and dishonestly customers are treated by their staff. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable. It clearly shows the hotel's lack of accountability, untrained staff, and complete disregard for customer satisfaction. Making a mistake is one thing, but speaking rudely, lying, and shifting blame onto the customer is disgraceful. Do not waste your money or time on Hotel Smabhar. They are careless with orders, rude on calls, and unapologetic about their mistakes. Avoid at all costs. Part 2 I have received this false reply from Hotel Sambar in response to my honest review, and I'm extremely disappointed by their continued dishonesty. I had clearly mentioned in the Zomato order that I wanted to purchase 10 extra pavs and 5 extra papads along with my four pav bhaji. I was fully willing to pay for these extras. This is also clearly audible in the call recording, where I repeatedly express that I'm ready to pay. During the call, the hotel staff member openly admitted her mistake, saying she accidentally selected "no" for the extras due to confusion at the hotel. However, when I pointed out that this had caused us to receive only half the intended order, her tone turned rude and disrespectful, and she suddenly changed her story, falsely claiming that the extras were not available. This shift in story and tone is recorded and undeniable. Now, in their reply, the hotel is falsely claiming that I was trying to get free items - a complete lie to save face and protect their reputation. This is not just bad service; it is deliberate misrepresentation of the customer's intent.

It's cheaper and mostly fast service. The food isn't all good and you have to decide what you might find tasty.... I would recommend the curd rice for a cooling meal but be careful. The medu vada isn't perfect but good enough. The dosa is a bit dissappinting at times. Thali are okay. Not too exciting but good enough, palatable and nice... Masala chaas. Its quite refreshing. And the sambar after which the place is named tastes good but not authentic. Sorry but it is what it is.

Authentic South Indian food, very delicious. Must try open dosa and masala bonda. Paratha combo is the best dish to try out. Offered various South Indian dishes. This hotel is on Manmad -Nagar road.

This place has the best south Indian taste. It is cost effective. We had a Mysore Cheese Masala Dosa which was so yum. The filter coffee was lovely. Poor service.
