Lilak Restaurant

When all other restaurants were closed for lunch around 11 AM (which is understandable, but I had a ferry to catch at 1 PM), Lilak Restaurant truly came to the rescue. I was accompanied by two vegetarian friends, and we ordered Paneer Lababdar--which was fresh and absolutely delicious. For myself, I tried the Jitada Fish Fry, and it was honestly finger-licking good. The pricing did feel a bit on the higher side--maybe around 20% more than average--but for a one-time visit, it was totally worth it. "Itna toh banta hai!" The service was excellent--the waiters and manager were polite, attentive, and welcoming. The ambience was pleasant, making it a comfortable spot to dine. Located right in the city center of Alibaug, it's a great backup (or even primary) option if popular places like Sanman, Kasturi, or Shri Ganesh are closed, full, or opening late. Definitely worth a visit for a satisfying and smooth dining experience.

I had the best non veg food of my life. Prawns preparation was really good. Any one go to Alibaug just to dine Lilak.

It is a nice family restaurant with an additional bar, with a pleasant atmosphere for drinks and the best part is the taste of the food. . A pleasant location that is easily accessible from Alibug's main road.

Lilak is a superb restaurant serving authentic and super tasty dishes. The Prawns and fish dishes are amazing! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.... Excellent service. Genuinely one of the best food I have had for a very long time! Thank you to the Lilac team!!

Very pleasant place to visit with frnds and family. Staff is very kind in serving food and very generous Food is too good must visit place. Decent prices for food. And sugar the best place to eat food with good service

I just randomly tried fish(ravas) it was good. So I recommend fish. Price is a bit too high value.

Lilak is posh clean, well behaved staff, quality food, tastes ok. They have pretty fast food delivery, food options are also good, with drinks on demand. Usually not packed as it in inside lanes. One can easily find place to sit here.. Try seasonal fish here.. taste was good but rates you have to discuss upfront. They accept card as well.

Highly over-rated but terribly bad place to have a good meal if you're seeking for a above average place that serves food and liquor. The fish dishes here were sadly among the worst we had in Alibag and coming from a glocal traveler and Foodie, it is below par to consider. The only good thing here was the crispy Chicken and all other dishes were sub standard. Lilak was also recommended highly by our host, but we went in a group of four and didn't enjoy the food preparation even a bit. It's an expensive place and nan and all comes around 90 a piece roughly. Anyways, a place to properly skip. If you're looking for good fish delicacies, please check out other nearby restaurants or go to the shacks by the Varsoli Beach or Alibaug beach if they are open at that time.
