Patang Family Restaurant

We take Pomfret thali and Mutton thali. Fish thali was having half pomfret in gravy and half fry. We requested we don't want half pomfret in gravy but they told we serve like this only otherwise no one will take out full pomfret fry. Also gravy of pomfret was already pre prepared and they put pomfret fish in it. They admitted this thing. Also mutton thali taste was not like malvani what they say and average taste.

Decent seafood in Alibag priced well. It's nothing out of the world, being so close to ocean fish was not fresh. Chicken lollipop had very thick coating. Prawns and Amboli was good. Vadas were very thick too.

Tasty and Quality food... I had tandoor pomfret and crab Sukka with nachni Bhakri...fish was fresh and tempting and Bhakri was so soft...

I heard a lot about the restaurant so visited along with a large group (12) on Saturday afternoon. We got the place quickly but the service was pretty slow. If the taste of the food was good I would have ignored the service. The look of thali was good but apart from curry, the fish had no taste, it was bland. Following are the dishes we ordered and their quality: 1. Surmai Thali - 3/10 (only because of the curry I have given 3) 2. Pomfret Thali - 3/10 3. Prawns Koliwada - 2/10 4. Chicken Lollipop - 1/10 (lot of oil and uncooked chicken) 5. Chicken Crispy - 9/10. I do not know if there was a change of chef when I visited but the quality of food was good at all. Solkadi was excellent. Not worth the amount we spent.

Nice food with authentic Malvani food Also having retro style ambience

We visited Patang for their speciality in sea food but this time we were completely disappointed. Firstly there were a lot of flies in restaurant. secondly the staff was confused with given order. Never order Tawa bombil it was in very small cut pieces and smelling. Looking at first sea food dish we cancelled plan of ordering sea food dishes and we ordered chicken and mutton which was very average. The flies didn't allow us to complete our meal. Will recommend at all to anyone.

Nice restaurant in the city of Alibaug. Roadtouch place. Walking distance from Alibaug Bus Depot. The food quality is so good compared to price and service. Taking lunch outside the area of the restaurant, such a nice experience for us. If you come to alibaug and your budget is good then you have to try food once here.

Totally disappointed Only the atmosphere is good I ordered surmai fish masala It was totally disgusting and not completely cooked but when i complained about that, they just changed the Curry masala fish they serve as it is . Another is service , worst service i ever seen . They serve us after 1 and half hour after I ordered food . Roti was like a chewgum Veg panner masala and kaju masala was good in taste .
