Samadhan Restaurant

I recently dined at this restaurant for three consecutive days. I am impressed by the consistent quality and deliciousness of the food. The ambience is warm, the staff is attentive. We had vegetarian meals. A combination of veg thali and half paneer chilli with gulab jamun on the side is a recommended option for two people. The restaurant was almost always full, be it afternoon or late evening. I was relieved to find this place, because as a tourist it was important to have a place that offered hygienic and tasty food with consistent quality.

Fish Tawa fry was disappointing. Fish didn't seem fresh but one stored in freezer and served. Mutton thali was just ok, taste was good but bhakris were served cold. Situated in heart of Alibaug city, Samadhan is right next to Collector's office and one of the most prominent restaurants for locals as well as tourists. However it was a disappointing lunch for me and family. A fusion between Kolhapuri and Konkani, Samadhan also offers chinese and punjabi dishes. Both AC & non AC sections. Comfortable seating. Staff is friendly & tell you about the dishes and help you make a choice. Plenty parking available outside without valet service. Washroom is just ok. Credit Cards accepted.

Situated in small lanes of Varsoli. It is a small hotel situated on a small road. Hotel might not look appealing from the outside but the food is great. They specialise in sea food dishes. They have AC and Non AC seating arrangements. The food is absolutely great. I would recommend Crab thali. The quantity they serve is generous and they serve 2 crabs, it also includes sukat chatni, solkadhi, and rice.

Very good experience. Don't go on ambience, it is very normal. But taste is amazing. Good price point. Quantity n quality for veg n non veg is reasonable and recommended.

This is one of the best restaurants near Varsoli beach. I had the best Seafood thali here. Prices are a little fluctuating but are reasonable. They have both AC and Non AC seating available. The staff is also polite. The washroom needs to be cleaner. The washroom is outside the restaurant and is too untidy. Card payment is also accepted here.

A must eat place. The food is so tasty that whichever fish thali you order you will feel it's one of the best you have ever eaten. The rates are worth the food taste.

We ordered a veg thali, solkadhi and curd rice. The thali, solkadhi was good. The Curd rice was a whole different story. Is it supposed to have red oil?! It was not chili oil, not spicy, i tasted just the oil. It was just simply red coloured oil. When i asked them to remove it and make a new one without oil. The server removed the tadka on top, mixed the oil in with the curd rice. Served me on the plate and said this is what we have, you won't get anything else. Since i needed to eat something, i had to eat. Option #2 was stay hungry, in a restaurant, coz they reserve the right to refuse service . All this because i wanted to eat something that was light on my stomach. I had a very tasty meal for lunch at "potobacho devaro" and heavy &also tasty evening snacks at jimmys resort.
