Make sure you are have to wait atleast 30 min for sure the Wait will be worth it. Simple but just tasty food on top of that it's reasonable too though being so famous. Ordered Surmai thali , bombil thali and Prawns thali which were good in taste as fish was fresh enough and masala to as per perfect.

Sanman is a must try when in Alibaugh. Serves delicious home style Fish Thali. We had ordered 2 Surmai Fry Thali and it was yum. The fish could have been more flavourful like the Prawns Fry. The solkadhi was perfect and hence ordered more. There was Prawns Sukkha too which was there in the thali and was different and tasted good. We ordered the modak too but the outer covering was too thick and it was cold with no ghee along with it. We prefer it hot with some tup (ghee).

I visited Sanman restaurant for the first time ever in Alibaug and it surprised me! This place is renowned for its seafood where we had an absolutely amazing meal here. The Surmai Thali was perfect, the Chicken Wade was incredible, and the Prawns Fry was top-notch. The Bombil Fry was crispy and flavorful, hitting all the right notes. The Tisrya Masala was packed with flavor--the masala was just the right balance of spice and taste, perfectly complementing the seafood. Every dish was bursting with authentic coastal flavors, making it a memorable dining experience. We wrapped up our lunch with plenty of Solkadhi, which was the perfect refreshing finish. Yes, there's a waiting line, but it's absolutely worth it! Highly recommend this legendary spot for anyone visiting Alibaug.

Clamps were on point Jitada fry was okay Prawns biryani was good Prawns fry was also delicious but quantity is very less Caramel custard was amazing it's made of A2 milk less sugar Disappointed with their signature dish crab masala ! Modak also was very dry & too thick Overall experience was okay Over hype restaurant in alibag These guys can improve a lot Kindly improve with service and signature dishes

Food was good and authentic. Have to park a bit away from the restaurant. There is 10 to 15 minutes of waiting time before seating. In all a good experience.

If you are in Alibaug you can't miss this gem, it's a must visit place for all the foodies. This is the oldest restaurant in Alibaug and the food here is amazing. The taste hasn't changed at all. Must try items- any type of fish thali, check if crab masala is available. Try their coconut jelly as well, it's refreshing. There are 2 Sanman in Alibaug, this is the old branch, which gives an old vibe. The staff here is very accommodating and helpful.

The food was simply delicious, great spicy chicken with soft rice bhakri! The solkadi was very very refreshing, I had one of the best meal of my year 10/10
