Better misal if we consider other options around.
Though the ambience is not very attractive, this is one of the best places for breakfast in Chiplun. Reasonable prices and friendly staff are addons in experience. Misal is highly recommended.
Food is delicious. Must try Usal pav with shev-chivda. Ambiance is not so good. They are running on same level as they started. One of the best places to have maharashtrian breakfast. Misal pav was disappointing.

Although many tasty dishes are available here, bt this place is really famous for the Shev Chivda. This hotel is serving customers since a very long time, may b upto 40yrs. You cant find AC, fountain, lawn, expensive furniture. Its a common place for a common man. Bt yes, many rich fellows visit this place. Polite staff. goof food, Kokan Meva also available. If u lucky... meet the golden person... the owner of this palce. Visit once.
Though it is an old hotel, customers are attached to it due to its taste. You will find regular customers who have been visiting here for the past many years. Shev Chivda and usal from Paranjape are not just dishes, these are emotions to many.
Best place to get Shev-Chivda, which is fantastic. You can have typical marathi breakfast items like poha, kanda-bhaji, vada-pav, misal-pav, shira, usal-pav etc.
Famous for Misal and Usal.. small joint with variety in misal and Usal.. it's also famous for chivada and gol Kanda bhaji.. affordable option and daily wages folks enjoy daily quick snacks.. overall good for spicy taste buds..
