Used to be my fav on my route to nashik. I came after 3 years this time. Big change for the worse. Self service only . So scuffled to get food. Food gets cold by the time one gets to ones table... Which also is tough on a Sunday morning. Cold food means no taste. Tea now served in paper cups. Gone are the ceramics. Overall, bad experience. Spoilt my morning halt. Remember, we used to love it. I hope hotel mgmt respects this feedback.

I recently ordered Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, Cheese Masala Dosa, along with tea, coffee, and buttermilk from Udipi Restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The Pav Bhaji, Misal Pav, and Dosa were all tasteless and seemed stale -- definitely not fresh or flavorful as one would expect from a South Indian restaurant. The only redeeming part of the meal was the tea and coffee, which were decent. However, that alone doesn't make up for the poor quality of the food. I won't be ordering again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone looking for authentic or even reasonably fresh Indian food.

The world's best pineapple sheera and batata Vada is served here. No jokes! Service was good and quick. The coffee was yummy.will come to eat batata Vada!

This time while travelling to Nashik from Thane, instead of our usual breakfast joint, we took a stop here. Thebplace was bot crowded at all so the service was fast. However the south indian items which we had ordered were Okaish. Given the name Udipi, I had better expectations. The masala Dosa was a bit chewy and it's potato bhaji was not a typical Dosa bhaji. Sambaar was bit sour. However the onion uthappa, the coconut chutney and tea were good. One of the low point of this place is the restrooms. Those were dirty and smelly, didn't feel like using those.

Food is fine but the place is un welcoming. They make you do self service for a Rs 105 vada. Stand in queue for a token, go to a counter to collect food, clean table urself, go to another counter to get water, only 2 cleaners, no waiters, unpleasant experience, no one even serves water, if you need tea you can't order, again get up stand in queue take a token go to a counter get tea etc. Road side stall is better . This place is totally avoidable for overpriced self service snacks.

Whenever we go to Nashik and Shirdi we do visit this restaurant I This restaurant is almost a decade old Their South Indian food is absolutely delicious , made right Their coconut chutney is thick and the consistency is right It's not spicy and great for our palate We look forward to coming here Their breakfast is Upma and poha and shira which are available until 11 am
