Shri Gajanan Restaurant

Asked a local to suggest me the best place in Karad to have breakfast, and had been directed to this place. This restaurant is one of the oldest and is being maintained by the management from Udupi. Small tables, 3 small sections, waiting for their turn to sit, between all this people looked they were enjoying their breakfast. Their most popular item was Misal Pav which was very unique and less spicy unlike the Misal Pav you get elsewhere in Maharashtra. Chai was fantastic. The prices were reasonable. Overall once must try visiting here at least once

Old style restaurant. The restaurant is conjusted and full so you need to be prepared to share the space with other people. The service is fast and place being so crowded, they have maintained good hygiene. I ordered a misal pav, it's a different taste of its own kind, giving some kind of South Indian taste to the curry. It's not too hot as anyone would expect for a misal. Worth a try if you are into trying different things.

One of the oldest and most well-loved restaurants in Karad, this Udupi gem opens early at 6:30-7 AM with a ready-to-serve breakfast. Tried Idli, Medu Wada, and Misal Pav, all were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. A must visit for a delicious and authentic South Indian experience!

I would say one of the best restaurants in this area. I tried their misal And surprisingly found it different from other misal available. As I am Punekar and Foodie I would rate this misal 9/10.

Delicious, & Vintage... Simple, But Adorable... The GAJANAN Restaurant can straightly be called as a pinnacle of Karad when it comes to breakfast, brunch, or even lunch! Remember CHAI #Tea is compulsory with whatever you order. Though my personal favorites are Masala Dosa & Shabu Dana Wada... If you're stuck with a daily village routine, want to experience a Mumbai-wali-Gardi ka feeling, The Restaurant GAJANAN is the place to be at. Having a dine at GAJANAN is like sitting on a railing train! Once a visit for sure, Give it a try

Nice Restaurant and Small space dining. The food quality was better and tasty. Tried Misal Pav and Sabudana Vada. I will recommend the both but Sabudana vada I will prefer.

One of the oldest restaurants in karad, Misal pav is good taste wise and quantity wise... It was delicious If you want quality breckfast then this place is for you. The sitting arrangement is a bit congested. Also, there is no parking facility available. So you have to park your vehicle somewhere else and walk here. Best misal experience. In terms of ambience it may lack - being old restaurant they've hardly felt to do this. But food quality is worth a visit - although off road and long from the highway
