Rooms: Good, 6 person shared dorms. There's also a common game room with table tennis, lots of board games to play and a TV. Service: Above and Beyond expectations. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Empathetic to situations as well, and ready to help no matter what. Had one of our group members fall ill with high fever around 11 at night, and she needed some antibiotics. The staff immediately drove me on their bike to a nearby hospital where we unfortunately didn't find the medicine. They then called an acquaintance to open his closed shop just to get the medicine for her. Them coming with me to the city so late by itself was beyond their expected work. Then they went even further and still helped get the medicine, even when every medical shop in the city was closed. Thanks to them our group member got better the next day, after getting the medicine. This is just one example, of course there were other incidents too where they helped a lot. Food also was very tasty, a little bit overpriced in my opinion. But, it was very good. Location: It is a really great location and totally surprised us. You need to cross a river to get to the Zostel. On Zostel's banks there are no other resorts or structures other than an NDRF training centre. Because of this, the place is devoid of any disturbances and is very peaceful. It has a lot of trees and the Kundalika riverbank also is very serene to sit on. At night, there are a lot of stars visible due to very less light pollution also probably coz it isn't located near any other structures. And, you have a lot of places and adventure activities to do near Kolad. The river rafting offered in collab from these guys also is very enjoyable. All in all: It's a very nice place and I would definitely be visiting it again. A very enjoyable experience, and a very helpful staff.

The Location is very is peaceful and the atmosphere the running river in the middle provides extraordinary feeling. A few parts of the location is just like movie cinematics. The overall place great. Definitely recommended to pay a visit with friends and spend quality time and creat long lasting memories with them. The water Rides too good...Especially the Jet ski ride provided, James Bond Movie experience and then spinner ride was also good. (You should have strong grip, while holding the handles) Suggestion:- Plan for at least 2 days...

I recently spent two days at Zostel Kolad, and it was an amazing experience! The location itself feels special -- crossing the river to reach the property gives it a secluded, island-like vibe. The staff was fantastic -- super helpful with both the booking process and arranging water sports activities. Whether you're into indoor games or outdoor adventures, there's plenty to keep you engaged. Time just flies by without a dull moment! My personal favorite spot was the hammock by the river, the perfect place to unwind and soak in the peaceful surroundings. Special shout-out to Pranith (community manager) for creating such a lively and welcoming vibe. That said, one thing to keep in mind is that the food at the in-house restaurant is a bit pricey for what's offered. Additionally, they don't allow outside food, which can be a little inconvenient. Despite this, the overall experience was fantastic. If you're looking for a mix of relaxation, adventure, and great company, Zostel Kolad is definitely worth a visit!

Zostel Kolad is a great weekend getaway with a peaceful location. The rooms were well-maintained and comfortable, making the stay enjoyable. The service was decent, though the food felt a bit overpriced. However, the highlight was the engagement activities led by Vanshita--well-planned and super fun! The vibe at Zostel Kolad is lively yet relaxing, perfect for meeting fellow travelers or just unwinding. Would definitely recommend it for a weekend retreat!

On the banks of kundalika river. You have to park on the other side and get here in a complementary boat ride. Cottage Rooms are spacious and clean. But no room service. Self service for everything. Shared hostel rooms also available which are small and share washrooms. Cottage rooms are expensive compared to others in locality. Hostel rooms are cheap. Good for couples, young group. Not for kids. Swimming pool was high on chlorine and somewhat dirty. They have music system that plays in night. Night atmosphere is cheerful and vibrant.

I stayed in Zostel for the first time, and it was an amazing experience. People from different cities came together, and we all danced, had fun, and made great friends. Mr. Praneet hosted games for everyone, making the experience even more enjoyable. I also had the honor of meeting retired Army and Air Force commanders who served our country. It was truly inspiring. For anyone looking to make meaningful connections, I would highly recommend Zostel!
