Pappe the Tashan is a vibrant Punjabi-themed restaurant in Kolhapur that successfully blends traditional dhaba vibes with a modern twist. The ambiance is one of its standout features, with both AC and non-AC sections available to suit your preference. The interiors are thoughtfully designed, offering a colorful dhaba feel. One side is adorned with a truck facade, while the other boasts Chinese writing, complemented by a tree, creating a quirky and unique atmosphere. The use of old-style bulbs for lighting adds a nostalgic aesthetic charm. The menu offers a variety of dishes, including some unique options that are hard to find elsewhere in Kolhapur. I ordered Chole Bhature accompanied by Masala Chaas. The food was decent overall. The chole were creamy with a slightly sweet taste, providing a distinct flavor. However, the bhature, though served hot, were quite oily, which could use some improvement. The Masala Chaas was a highlight of the meal--refreshing, palate-cleansing, and perfect for cooling the stomach. The staff were polite and friendly, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. However, the location poses a challenge, as the restaurant is situated at a busy chowk with heavy traffic, and parking is a significant issue. Overall, Pappe the Tashan is worth visiting for its unique ambiance and refreshing drinks. With a few tweaks to the food quality and better parking arrangements, it could become a top choice for Punjabi cuisine in Kolhapur.

Visited this place multiple times. The overall food quality is quite good. Most dishes are flavorful and well-prepared. The ambience is pleasant and family-friendly, making it a decent spot for a relaxed outing. However, the service is noticeably slow. The biggest letdown, though, was the chicken biryani. It was hands down the worst I've had. The rice was undercooked, and the chicken lacked flavor entirely. It felt like it had been thrown together without much care. For a dish that's usually a highlight, this was a major disappointment. Cutting 2 stars solely for that. Would still consider revisiting, but definitely skipping the biryani next time.

The quality of food has depreciated drastically. 70-80% of items on menu aren't available. My last experience was very bad. Terrible to say at least. The first time I visited everything was alright. Even I recommended friends and family about this place back then. Now I won't be visiting again that's for sure.

This is a nice north Indian restaurant located on a busy junction. It is quite popular. However when I visited on a weekday afternoon there was no crowd. It has crowd on weekends. They serve both Vegetarian and Non vegetarian dishes. Slightly overpriced but the food is tasty. Service is also prompt. They take around 15 min to serve after ordering. The ambience is also good and is a nice place to be with friends and family for food. There is limited free street parking. But parking should not be an issue as the adjacent roads are pretty wide. They accept UPI and cards also.

I ordered butter chicken combo through zomato from this restaurant gravy was nice garlic nan was ok as it was parcel packaging was good now I will tell you about why I gave only 3 starts 1. Boneless chicken used in the butter chicken was not boneless it had bones as proper care was not taken while making it boneless. It completely disappointed me when I was having my second bite in good mood and there was big piece of soft bone was between my teeth's and I left away my dinner as mood was completely off 2. There was only garlic nan option in combo which became very chewy in parcel so there should be option for at least basic wheat tandoor roti 3. But I accept the fact that butter chicken gravy was nice but I can't enjoy it
