Phadtare misal is an old legacy restaurant run by the owners of Phadtare misal in Kolhapur nearby Mahalaxmi temple. They have misal and butter milk offerings only. They have a different style of serving misal wherein the first smashed potato is poured with curry and then comes matki( sprouts) and dressing of onions, coriander and pharsana. The hot taste lovers would be disappointed as the misal is sober and not spicy. There is waiting in time from 8am to 10am. They serve bread with misal and are good in quality. Overall I liked the misal and legacy the owners have built and maintained. Clearly recommended.

This is a very old and very famous misal in Udyam Nagri, Kolhapur. It is very tasty. In it, you get the flavors of Kolhapuri misal and Kolhapuri masala. This misal was started from nine in the morning. This place is very crowded with tourists, so you should book a seat in advance. Don't judge the book by its cover.. Amazing misal. Waiting for your turn is definitely to look out for. We reached the point at 9:10 am.. and yet the wait was almost for 15-20 mins. It was worth the wait. A must try for everyone.

This place feels like one of those secret finds in a city. One of my local friends suggested this place. Once there it was a good experience overall. You share the table with fellow eaters which is awesome, if you want to have a chat or ask something till food arrives. No menu spotted, so very easy order - Misal Pav(Bread) I am from Nagpur, so the Misal was tasty but not very spicy for me but enough to enjoy it. The tarri refill is free, I guess because my friends refilled quite a few times. The breads also keep coming on demand. Food - 4/5 Service - 4/5 Menu - 5/5 Cleanliness - 3/5 If you are travelling to Kolhapur this place is worth going to.

When you type misal near me and the first place you select and visit turns out to be gold.. this is one of it.. it not crowded as usual.. maybe i was lucky.. the misal is exactly perfect.. je boltat ki kolhapuri tikhat asta, should come here and experience real taste of kolhapur.. excellent choice.. must visit..
