Customer Reviews & Testimonials
The place is big enough with some options for kids to play. We went to the pure veg section for lunch. Despite having a four occupancy table available for a family of three we were given a table for one person. The person occupying a nearby bigger table was the manager of the restaurant. Upon then a bit of argument we were given a bigger table. Food was decent. But a regular veg gravy for just a bowl full of portion size was charged 600!! We candidly left a review as well. Surely not a "must" visit.
Average experience on a busy Sunday afternoon. Took nearly an hour to be seated and assigned a server. Add a delay of another 15 minutes where there was no one to take the order and another 20 minutes for the food to arrive. If you have kids with you, make sure you take some snacks with you because they will be super annoyed with the delays. Food and service were average with the waiter even pushing for a Tip at the end of the meal. Overall, an overrated place which can lead to good experience if you go when it's not too busy.
We had lunch here on our way back to pune from lonavala. It seems to be good place for stay also. They have claasic style rooms ,we checked them post dinner. Cost wise boking through apps would be cheaper. This might be good place for new year party as they host limited audience party.Location is good . Food is good .Might be better for non-veg. There are some activities also at the restaurant and good play tools for kids.
Visited this restaurant with office colleagues, drawn in by its spacious setting and promising ambience. While the place is spread over a wide area and has a welcoming vibe, the experience was a mixed bag. The ambience had potential, but the excessive disturbance and loud live music turned it into more of a distraction than an enhancement. At certain points, it felt more like noise rather than an enjoyable performance. When it comes to food, the Desi Khaana (North Indian cuisine) was the only saving grace--flavorful and well-prepared. However, the rest of the menu was way below average, failing to meet expectations. Most of my colleagues shared the same sentiment, leaving quite disappointed with the overall culinary experience. On a positive note, the staff was courteous and attentive, which added some value to the visit. But given the overall experience, I'd say it's a decent spot if you're only looking for good North Indian food, but not the best choice if you're expecting an all-rounder dining experience.
Food was below average simply having hike now. Before the food and hospitality was good. They give uncooked chicken later burn more and provide totally disappointed
Pathetic management and service. Non professional staff. Never go on weekends they cannot manage crowds. They will tell you wait time around 45min but it takes more than 1.30hrs. There are many better options around. Food quality is average. Overall not at all worth of waiting time.
Overall ambience in good. Good kids play area garden to use free of cost. All rides other rides are charged rs100-150. Food is overpriced. Eg - for a bottle of Fanta which has mrp of 40 they charge 74. Regular water is not available,You will have to buy bottle. Chaas cost rs160-180. One time experience is good but nothing special.
A Disastrous Experience - Steer Clear of This Resort Our stay at Kinara Village Resort on the 2nd week of April was an absolute disaster. The experience was plagued with inefficiency, rude staff, and a complete lack of basic amenities that one would expect from a so-called "reputed" establishment. Upon arrival, we were met with shockingly rude behaviour from a front office staff member named Ram. Despite our long journey of over 1,000 kilometres, he refused to let us or our elderly parents settle in before demanding full payment upfront. Our polite request for just five minutes to allow the elders to rest before completing the payment was met with outright refusal and dismissive behaviour. It was an appalling start to our stay. The failures continued throughout our time at the resort. When we requested extra beds, we were informed that they had none available--an astonishing oversight for a resort of this size and supposed reputation. After much insistence, the manager managed to provide something, but it was just a basic mattress that could be purchased for a mere 300. Calling this a solution would be generous. Hot water availability was another significant issue. On the first day, we managed to get hot water, but by the second day, there was none. The staff attempted to remedy this by offering buckets of hot water, but this was far from adequate or acceptable for a resort claiming to provide quality services. The food service was painfully slow and below standard. After arriving in the afternoon, we ordered parathas, which took a staggering two hours to arrive. When they finally did, the quality was dreadful--hardly edible and certainly not worth the wait. The overall experience was a catalogue of failures--rude staff, inadequate facilities, and a shocking lack of professionalism. While the manager made some effort to address a few issues, it was too little, too late. Kinara Village Resort is far from the tranquil and comfortable retreat it claims to be. Instead, it was an exercise in frustration and disappointment. I strongly advise anyone considering this resort to avoid it at all costs. Spare yourself the unpleasant experience and look elsewhere for a truly hospitable stay.
