Joshi Homely Food lonavala(Fase Mummy's)

We had visited this place after seeing on youtube video. The food have no fancy preparation and overpriced .We ordered 1 Chicken, 1 Mutton Masala Curry , 1 kolambi Masala Curry , 3 Solekadi,3 Bhakti ,4 Chapati . Chicken Dry tests good but it have bone crash in it . Mutton Masala Curry have less pieces and Curry was watery.Kolambi Masala Curry have small kolambi as per price and Curry was watery . Chapati was small as per price. The place is overpriced and food quality is not value for money.

After visiting this place with high expectations due to numerous positive reviews on YouTube, we were disappointed to find it overhyped and overrated. The food was average in quality and overpriced. The pomfret fish lacked salt and was tasteless, while the chicken was acceptable. The veg meal was also average, with curry vegetables having high oil content. When we asked for chicken gravy, they served us chicken dry, on questioning them they replied you have already ordered one more gravy so it is not appropriate However, we felt that they should serve what we asked for, rather than deciding what is appropriate. Overall, our experience did not match the praise we saw in YouTube videos. The quality of food for the price they charge needs improvement, and the dining space is limited.Not recommended to visit.

We had visited this place after seeing YouTube video praising the food. The food was just like homely prepared, no extra spices or no fancy preparation, serving style also was very homely. BUT it is very expensive, when we pay this much price, you expect other things along with delicious food like ambience, Presentation, ample parking etc. I would say this place is overhyped due to YouTube content.

If you are visiting Lonavala and craving authentic, homely non vegetarian food, this restaurant is a must visit. The place offers a limited but curated selection of dishes, including delicious sea food, tender chicken and flavorful mutton. The ambience is simple and basic, giving you that warm, homely feeling that makes experience special. It's a popular spot among locals and tourists alike, so be prepared to wait around 30-40 minutes, especially during peak hours. One important note: this restaurant only accepts cash, so make sure to come prepared In short, if you're looking for heavy, well cooked non-veg food in Lonavala, this is the place to go!

This place feels seriously overhyped--rated like a 7-star spot, but the quality barely justifies even one. Definitely not a go-to for true fish lovers. There are far better seafood restaurants that serve decent thalis at more reasonable prices. Charging 650 for a basic prawns curry and 550 for chicken curry is steep, especially considering the taste and quality just don't match up. To top it off, they don't accept GPay or card payments, which is really inconvenient in today's cashless world. Don't go just by YouTube video you will be surely disappointed.

Ambience: The place has a good homely vibe. Although it's a very simple and open place which is particular about their timings to start and end. There is always waiting of atleast of 15 mins so make sure you account for it. Food is costly and they only accept cash. Food: The food is amazing with limited options for vegetarians and non-vegetarians. Recommendations: Try their Pomfret fry. Prawns curry or Mutton curry with chapati and rice. End with a good glass of Solkadhi.

Last time I visited it was good was tasty and reasonably priced. Now the decor and atmosphere is the same but the price has gone up and the food taste is down. I would certainly not advise anyone to visit this place. We ordered 3 chicken dry, 1 chicken masala, 1 cauliflower bhaji, 1 rice and 8 chapati. The cost was Rs 2100. Forget the price the experience itself was not worth repeating.

Just another OVERHYPED & OVERRATED eatery. Not sure what all the fuss is about--this place was a complete letdown. The staff seemed like they were doing us a favor just by acknowledging our presence. From the moment we walked in, the attitude was cold and dismissive. The food? Completely average. Nothing stood out except the price tag. You'd expect something impressive for what they charge, but it tasted like something you could make at home on a lazy night. Between the rude service, the underwhelming food, and the inflated bill, we left wondering why we ever bothered coming. Definitely not worth the hype--or the money.
