Customer Reviews & Testimonials
Markaiz offers a complete dining experience that impresses on multiple fronts. The ambience is absolutely stunning--stylish interiors, warm lighting, and a lively yet relaxed vibe make it perfect for both casual evenings and special occasions. The food is top-notch, with well-crafted flavors and beautiful presentation. Their cocktail menu is equally impressive, featuring a thoughtfully curated selection of classic and signature drinks that pair perfectly with the cuisine. Service here is truly outstanding--staff are attentive, polite, and ensure you're looked after from start to finish. To top it all off, there's live music that adds a wonderful energy to the place without overpowering your conversations. That said, the prices are on the higher side, and for some dishes, the portion sizes could be slightly better. But considering the overall experience, it still feels worth it.
Located above the new Cooper's, this is a pet friendly restaurant serving a variety of different cuisines. Huge menu to choose from. But equally long wait time. Seems they have separate kitchens. The section on the top floor is very spacious and feel almost like sitting in the open. Lot of parking space but traffic too.
Markaiz in Lonavala offers a refined dining experience with commendable service. The staff is attentive, ensuring a seamless and pleasant visit. However, the pricing leans toward the higher side, making it a consideration for those mindful of cost. While the food quality justifies the expense to some extent, a bit more value for money would enhance the overall experience. For those seeking good service and a premium ambiance, Markaiz delivers well. If budget is a priority, exploring alternative options might be worthwhile.
Ambience 5 star Service 5 star Food good. But very overpriced. Overhyped place We ordered their 1907 walnut fudge brownie drink, hoping it wud be something exceptionally But was jus regular hit chocolate with fudge n pcs of nuts decorated on rim in a small 250 300 ml cup for almost 500 rs Avocado toast had chillies.which is surprising . Menu had mentioned, micro greens in t, When served without micrograms, we asked for it, to which they put exactly 2 leave on top and, served us back Jain burrata bowl awesomeeeee... Tiramisu was worth the price... Soft tacos were also decent. Sweetcorn didnt look fresh boiled tho.
Food and atmosphere is excellent. Service is pathetic. Main course was served before the soup, because there are different kitchens. We had to ask the waiter to bring the main course later. One item in the main course was not served along with others because they said it was not ordered. So we reordered. Finally, it was served and then then they came with 1 more portion. During our 90 mins stay, at least 3 times waiters brought to our table what we had not ordered. The place has a long way to go in terms of professional service.
Nice cozy place with different seating sections! Ambience is amazing, we went to try out their coffee and deserts. Ordered Iced Latte, which was very average. The almond croissant was delicous, crunch on the outside and soft inside! I would suggest the team to work more on their coffees, expected better!
If u want to visit just for instagram trend and nice fancy cafe just go for it. The service is very bad no will be come to for taking order or ask u for which seat u required. The food is another flop think in this place, We tried pizza, spaghetti, some starter they suggested that was very bad. Paneer masala was nice and naan too. Classic cold coffee was upto the mark. The place is set up on 3 levels, ground is for cash and carry. First & second levels are for dine in, which includes a separate ac bar section & outdoor/indoor seating. The ambience is simple and rustic, with lots of foliage at the outdoor seating area. The menu is extensive and caters to a wide variety of cuisines including some parsi dishes and a dedicated jain menu, with everything else in between. Yes, the place is quite fancy and prices reflect this aspect but ultimately if you aren't getting the quality one is paying for then it's simply unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed with the experience.
Loved the ambience. And being a Thursday evening this place was very calm and chill to hang out at. Food is below average. We called for all sorts of dishes from Noornai tikki, chicken drumsticks, Chocolate croissant which was super dry, Nutella espresso milkshake, caprioca pizza. All the desserts are not made fresh maybe that's why they taste also that way. Nothing was wow. Dark chocolate gelato was good. 4 stars only for the ambience. The place is really well done. But food can be much much better. Not a single dish has any taste. Everything is too bland.
