Bayroute Powai

I recently dined at this restaurant, and while the food was tasty, a few issues left a bad impression. Pros: The food was genuinely good, flavorful, and well-prepared. Cons: 1. Hidden Charges: They served us a Bisleri Vedica water bottle priced at 350 without informing us, while similar restaurants usually charge 60-80 for a regular bottle. This felt misleading. 2. Service Charge: They automatically added a 10% service charge to the bill without informing us, which should have been communicated beforehand. 3. Quantity Issues: The drink portions were extremely small, making it feel like they were just trying to maximize profit at the customer's expense. Overall, while the food was good, these practices make it hard to recommend the place. Transparency in pricing and fair portion sizes would improve the experience.

A wonderful Middle Eastern restaurant near Powai junction, offering authentic cuisine. Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes were delicious, with a great variety to choose from. The desserts were simply irresistible! We tried some of their flagship dishes, including Hummus, Baklava, Kebabs, Date juice, and lentil soup--all of which were flavorful and well-prepared. However, the mocktails were a bit disappointing. The interior was simply adorable, complemented by outdoor seating. The highway-touch location makes it easily accessible, and the building provides ample parking space. The cost is a little on the higher side, but the quality justifies it to some extent. Overall, it was a refreshing and unique dining experience. Loved it!

We went there for dinner, and the vibe was great! The staff was super warm, the food and drinks were beautifully presented, and the ambience was definitely a highlight. But when it came to the food, it didn't quite blow us away--good, but not wow! The hummus was a winner, and the cocktails were on point, though. Overall, it was a nice experience--worth a one-time visit for sure!

The simplest of dishes can prove the authenticity of a restaurant. In case of middle-eastern/mediterranean food, it's the pita bread. It needs to be steaming, fluffy and tasty. And Bayroute fails us on all three. Not to mention, their Hummus was creamier than it should be. There are better Lebanese restaurants than Bayroute in Mumbai. But the menu is authentic and the service is very friendly. I just hope they get a better chef.

A fabulous experience. The food was delicious and service was prompt. We started with drinks and some hummus variants. I suggest one should definitely seek captain's assistance if they do not understand what will suit their taste platte. Can't recall the name of the rice dish, but it was fragrant and very tasty. Overall I do recommend it for a good middle eastern experience.

We celebrated my mom's birthday here. Excellent food and warm and accommodating staff. They brought a surprise dessert (on the house), made my mom's day. The dessert itself (Lotus Drama) was swoon worthy. Definitely recommend for a memorable time.

This place has a completely different vibe that accentuates the whole dining experience here, making it remarkable. Staff knows about the cuisine being served and give great recommendations. Rose Kunafa is a treat to the eyes and palate. Definitely visiting again
