Customer Reviews & Testimonials
We tried the duck in honey barbecue, which was decent but not particularly memorable -- we've had better at similar price elsewhere. The pork in oyster sauce lacked flavor and could use some seasoning. The restaurant's interiors are quite dimly lit; while we appreciate the intention to create ambience, it was a bit too dark. Being able to clearly see the food enhances the dining experience.
Very Good food. Service was also good. The Kung pao potatoes and veg wantons were great. The chilly chicken and red hot chicken gravy is a must try. Pot rice was good too . The only funny part was that it mentions Valet Parking. When we asked the person is there valet- he answers just park it in the lane!! So it's like self parking valet!!
China Valley Restaurant Review Recently, I had the chance to visit China Valley, a spot that combines a good ambience with the convenience of valet parking. The experience was overall enjoyable, though there were a few hiccups along the way. Ambience and Service: The ambience at China Valley is inviting, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. The service, however, was just okay. The staff was polite, but there was a bit of a mix-up when they brought out the appetizer and soup together, which felt a little rushed. The Food: * Chicken Manchow Soup: This was the first dish I tried, and it did not disappoint. The soup was flavorful and just the right level of spicy--perfect for kicking off the meal. * Mongolian Pan Fried Chicken: Next, I went for the Mongolian Pan Fried Chicken. While it was decent, it could have been much better with a touch more seasoning. It felt like it was almost there but just missed the mark slightly. * Chicken Pot Rice: For the main course, I had the Chicken Pot Rice, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The rice was well-cooked, the chicken was tender, and the quantity was generous, making it a satisfying dish overall. Drinks: I ordered a glass of tonic water, which was refreshing, while my partner enjoyed a glass of red wine. The drinks were well-served and complemented the meal nicely. Final Thoughts: China Valley offers good food in a pleasant setting, though there is room for improvement in the service department. If you're looking for a place with solid Chinese cuisine and a comfortable atmosphere, it's worth a visit--just don't be surprised if your soup and appetizer arrive at the same time!
Firstly all that we ordered tasted great .hakka kay thong soup was yummy. Pattaya chicken starter was spicy and nice , mint fried rice was nice with subtle taste of mint , guangzhou chicken was also nice new flavour for us. Best was caramel custard. You are in luck if served by "kanhaiya". He gave excellent alternate choices and options. Very polite and helpful and has a keen eye. Place has valet parking. We chose to sit outside rather than inside.
Great food, quick service, good ambiance, good portion size and VFM. It's not a regular Chinese place, the slightly premium price that you pay is for good quality, good portion, quick and attentive service and most importantly, taste. Our usual with them is burnt garlic chicken chilli, chicken fried rice and chicken lollipop. The chicken chilli gravy is slightly different than most, it's mildly sweet and spiced good enough. They offer valet parking. Overall a favorite place to dine with family and friends.
Visited after a year and had a ton of dishes ordered for by my friends so not sure of all the names. Overall the quality of all was strictly ok, with nothing outstanding as such. Too much bicarbonate soda added to what we ate was omnipresent.
Loved this place. We had Guangzhou Chicken (Chef's Special) with Bejing Noddles. The taste was good, at first we were nervous that the Guangzhou Chicken will be spicy but no it was just perfect and complimented well with the Noodles. I personally suggest to try their Burnt Garlic Pot Rice/Noodles. The Ambience is old good nothing fancy, just a calm place to have good food.
Had a fantastic meal at China Valley. We tried the Black Pepper Chicken, Pataya Chicken, Burnt Chilli Garlic Rice, and Veg Manchurian--and every single dish was absolutely delicious. The Black Pepper Chicken was bold and flavorful, Pataya Chicken had a nice balance of spice and tang, and the rice was packed with smoky garlic goodness. The Veg Manchurian was perfectly crispy and paired really well with the rice.
