Hitchki, Powai

Went to Hitchki in Powai and bro it felt like Bollywood and food had a love child. The place is full-on dramatic in the best way. Lights, music, decor - everything screams fun and filmi. You'll find tables named after movies and dishes with names that'll make you laugh before you even eat. We ordered "Govinda's Tandoori Tikka" (yes that's the name) and it came sizzling like a superstar entry. Juicy, spicy, and full of swag. Then came "Mutton Mastani" - soft mutton, rich gravy, and the kind of taste that makes you go silent for a minute. Because you're just enjoying that flavor. Drinks were as creative as the food. Their Bollywood-style cocktails come with drama - smoke, dry ice, crazy glasses. One drink even came with a tiny pressure cooker on top. I'm not even kidding. The vibe here is loud, colourful, and total paisa vasool. The music is desi with a twist and people are either dancing in their seats or clicking selfies non-stop. Staff is super cool, always smiling and even joked with us about the menu names. Prices? Not super cheap but totally worth it for the experience. You get food, drinks, entertainment and pure nostalgia in one plate. If you want silence and candles - skip it. But if you want music, madness, and masala - Hitchki is the place. Perfect for birthday scenes, squad plans, or just when life feels boring. Go once and you'll keep coming back for the next hit song.

A bar with all the frills and thrills of Bollywood. Service can seem wanting. Trying to walk and the guy held the door but got distracted. Ample seating outside and inside with different sized tables. Okay, I scanned the QR code and scanned all the menus (there are many!) before someone showed up. I had a well presented whiskey with jaggery and woodsmoke. Hara bara kabab was good and original. On a slow night if you have to wait for someone to ask for a repeat. The dal pakwan tostada was a brilliant idea, made well and maker took pride in showcasing it. Staff didn't seem that interested and my vibe matched it. Am a 2 drink person, but Left after a drink, thoroughly enjoyed the food. Kitchen knows their stuff, kudos.

We went here for a team lunch (group of 20), and it was an experience we won't soon forget. Unfortunately, not for the right reasons. The service was painstakingly slow!!! It took a whopping 25 minutes just to get an empty plate and spoon. Hoping for a quick fix, we ordered dal khichdi, thinking it would arrive early. But alas, even that took 25-30 minutes to reach our table. The portion size is small. The food was decent, which was the only savior in this otherwise disappointing visit!!!!!

We went to Hitchki Powai to celebrate our anniversary. The music, the food, and the desserts everything was great. We both had a wonderful time.

Fridays at Hitchki are fun as there is bollywood night where you can dance your heart out on nostalgic pop songs from.the 1990's and 2000's. The ambiance and vibes of the place is great and the food is delicious.

Visiting after 7 years and vibe, food, service still positive and worth the visit. If in the area I would recommend this place

We had our kitty party at Hitchki. The mocktails and food were awesome. We all really liked the dessert 'moong bharo sajna'. The staff is very prompt and courteous. The interior is something I am not very impressed with.

Their service is very slow. Ambience is good. They forcefully charge 10% service charge however it is not mandatory.
