IBC POWAI - a buzzing spot one can enjoy some really good beer and finger foods. Beer - We tried the seasonal mango beer, it was nice sweet and refreshing. 1) (King Jovial- Mango GRAF) Candied mango & a hint of apple. Pleasantly sweet & session-able Then for a smooth wheatish beer vibe we tried 2) Band Wit (Belgian Wit) Very smooth on the palate with aromas of orange zest, mild coriander & mild vanilla & pleasant malty sweetness. 3) Weiss Crack (Hefeweizen) Very refreshing & smooth on palate, with aromas & flavours of banana, clove, mild vanilla & bubblegum. We also tried Kamikaze shots ! (Wild) For food - we had chicken popcorn flavored in podi masala, it's my favorite! We also had FUGAZZA Buttered Onion | Oregano I Home Made Tomato Sauce | Basil | Extra Virgin Olive Oil I personally felt the onion was over powering. Rest the service was fast we had to wait for 30 mins ish as it was evening time. Overall a 4/5 experience!!

My fav in the hood. And bonus when the mango season is in. King Jovial - Mango Ale, is a must try. Have had almost all the dishes on the menu. The chorizo this time around was quite sad. The earlier version was far better and loved to polish off the greasy plate with bread. But no more. Good vibe, great service !!

Visited IBC on a Saturday evening with a group of six. To avoid the weekend rush, we made a reservation through District, which went smoothly. The ambience was lively and well set up, and the staff was courteous and attentive throughout our visit. A good spot to hang out with friends. We found the beer menu a bit confusing, and weren't sure what to go for, so we ordered a tasting palette featuring all their brews. It was a helpful way to explore the options, but clearer descriptions or staff recommendations would have been appreciated. On the food front, it was a mixed bag: * The Bombil Fry was fresh and nicely done. * The Loaded Nachos were okay - nothing memorable. * The surprise winner of the evening was the Edamame Kimchi - a unique, flavorful dish that stood out and was the pick of the night. Overall, a decent experience. With some improvements to the beer menu and consistency in food quality, it could be a more compelling spot. Worth a visit, especially for the edamame.

On my recent visit to Mumbai, my girlfriend insisted we visit the Powai area. While strolling around, she suddenly remembered IBC's iconic Mango Beer she had once tried and was super excited to revisit the spot -- so we hopped into the restaurant on a busy evening. Most of the tables were taken, but thanks to the friendly frontman , we managed to get a cozy table for two. Since we were there just for the drinks, we ordered Mango Beer and a quick bite -- squid calamari on the side. The place was bustling with locals and a few international guests . It was a bit noisy and the music was loud, but honestly, that's what you sign up for at a popular joint like this -- the vibe was alive and kicking . Spent a great time here. The beer was beyond awesome -- truly the star of the show (a must-try! ). Will definitely come back just for the beer ! Highly recommend for a lively evening out . Cheers to Mango Beer!

IBC Powai has a vibrant ambience, perfect for chilling with friends. The place is lively and spacious, ideal for weekend plans. Their pizzas are delicious and worth trying. It's slightly on the expensive side but great for enjoying quality time and good food.

I've been there a couple of times in the past as well however it was during the main hours when it was crowded yet the chair arrangement is near so it doesn't feel claustrophobic. This time however I arrived for the last order call and the staff was kind enough to shell out an order of fries upon my insistence. This is the kind of service and presence of mind that makes customers feel like coming back to eateries.

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Independence Brewing Company in Powai, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the hostess made us feel welcome, quickly finding a table for two even though we were walk-in guests. We began by sampling six tasters of their home-brewed beers, each costing 25--a fantastic way to explore their unique flavors. After trying them all, we decided on two standout options: Band Wit, a Belgian Wit with smooth notes of orange zest, mild coriander, vanilla, and a pleasant malty sweetness, and King Jovial, a Mango GRAF that combined candied mango with a hint of apple for a pleasantly sweet experience. To complement our drinks, we ordered the Zouk Chicken Kebab, which was tender, juicy, and full of flavor, perfectly paired with a refreshing tzatziki sauce. We also tried Oryza, a Rice Lager that was clean, crisp, light-bodied, and incredibly refreshing. As the evening progressed, we indulged in the IBC DIAVOLO 3 x 3 PIZZA(r), a flavor-packed creation featuring Pepperoni, Spanish Chorizo, Garlic Sauce, Red Peppers, Mint, Grilled Chicken, Sliced Jalapeno, Pimentos, and Ancho Chilli. The combination was bold and balanced, making it a standout dish. We rounded off the evening with an expertly crafted old-fashioned whiskey. Throughout the evening, Manoj took excellent care of us. He was courteous, attentive, and quick to fulfill our requests, ensuring that we had everything we needed. The combination of outstanding service, innovative beers, and delicious food made our visit to Independence Brewing Company in Powai truly memorable. It's a place I'd highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a great night out.

The ambience of this place is amazing and the food and service is excellent. You can either park on the street or in the paid parking lot in the building. Given the prime location in the business district of Powai, the place does have a lot of waiting time in the after-office hours. They have a menu that provides enough options for both vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians. They also serve beer that they have brewed themselves. Their starter options are amazing. The service staff is polite and helpful.
