I visited @kbhagattarachand restaurant located in Borivali West. As soon as you step inside, you're greeted by a warm and inviting atmosphere. From aromatic curries to freshly made rotis, naan, kulcha, every dish is crafted with love and attention to detail. The menu is very precise and I am sure you won't go wrong in your choices. Starting with Papad Churi which is their Signature dish to start. Lot of crunch to it and most importantly that blast of fried onions and mixture of all the spices is an ultimate choice. I ordered Dal Baati Churma came up with pure ghee which added richness to the next level. Then season favorite Aamras with puri and ofcourse incomplete without signature aloo ki Bhaji which was so flavorful. Then in mains I ordered Veg Dehati which was loaded with vegetables, green looking gravy. Dal Tadka had a beautiful layer of tadka on top. I had with butter chapati followed by ghee chapati. I wished to order rice but but I had kept space for desserts. Mango Lassi which I ordered initially, repeated again. Had a nice mango taste to it. Lassi was thick, creamy and certainly filling. Soft Gulabjam paired with milky and Rabdi which was nicely balanced with sweet and infused with cardamom and mill cream. Miong Dal Halwa, ditto unavoidable like Rabdi. Crumbly texture from dry fruits and melts in mouth feeling as soon as you bite. Every dish is prepared fresh, precision. You can see live kitchen from dining area. Overall, K Bhagat Tarachand Hotel offers a delightful culinary experience that's sure to satisfy your taste buds. Whether you're a local or just passing through, this place is definitely worth. Overall had a good experience Food - 5/5 (Had KBT combo which was much more enough to full your stomach with satisfaction) Service and Ambience were also soothing and satisfying You'll also be asked for the Jain option during the order is what I found welcoming. Worth your pay for the food and experience

Good hygienic place with quite some known taste though not fully matching the original BTC but won't disappoint for sure. Good season to try out AamRas Puri along with ghee chapati and ofcourse paneer bhurji.

we frequently go here but today that is 20th December 2024 they gv us onion with only outer ring n not the inside thing so when asked abt this to waiter he said owner has told to gv such coz kanda costinh rs. 80.can u imagine this. they charge so horrible for everything n for onion thry gv such lame excuse. isn't it ridiculous. shame real shame. i have added pictures as well.

To poor quantity..... moong dal halwa nahe dai te... don't buy parcel.... very bad quality....

I request all of you not to go to the restaurant because the staff of this restaurant is very useless, if you make any complaint about the food they do not accept the mistake. The manager says our food is fine, it is only you who had a problem.

Food was good, visited here on Sunday. Decent waiting time around 20 mins. Ambience is great although service can be improved. We were waiting for the waiter to serve the water even after he took our order. We had ordered their signature items as per the menu. Papad Churi , paneer bhurji, butter chapati and veg Biryani. Panner bhurji was great . Chapati was fully loaded in Amul butter. Veg biryani was 3.5/5 and papad Churi was decent.

Review for Bhagat Tarachand, Borivali I recently dined at Bhagat Tarachand Borivali, but unfortunately, the experience was quite disappointing due to poor service. When I requested Dal Bati, the waiter informed me that they only serve Punjabi dishes, and Dal Bati wasn't available. However, I was surprised to see Dal Bati served at another table later. This inconsistency was frustrating. Additionally, I inquired about the difference between the "Healthy Thali" and the regular Thali. The staff member explained that the Healthy Thali would have "paneer dishes," so I decided to go with it. But when the meal arrived, it was very limited: just Makki Roti, two vegetables, and dal, with no sweet dish included. It didn't match the description I was given and felt quite underwhelming. The staff's lack of knowledge about the menu was disappointing. If the servers aren't familiar with the offerings, they shouldn't be taking orders or should receive proper training to ensure they can accurately guide customers. This would make the dining experience much smoother and more enjoyable.
