Customer Reviews & Testimonials
I recently visited Oriv Resto Cafe Bar for a friend's birthday party, and while the ambiance was quite nice, the overall experience was disappointing. The biggest issue was the service--slow, sluggish, and completely uninterested. The waiters seemed least bothered about serving us and even made faces, which made us feel unwelcome. It took way too long to get our orders, and even basic requests were met with disinterest. As for the food, it was just okay--nothing special, but not terrible either. However, the poor service overshadowed whatever positives the place had. Overall, it was not a pleasant experience. A good ambiance alone isn't enough to make up for bad service. Definitely not planning to return.
We had a family dinner here. Food was decent. It has 3 options in the same venue. Top floor is Club type place with loud music. Second floor is a fine dine with live music. Ground floor has a cafe. Its pocket friendly and large menu. Try Oriv52 cocktail here.
We visited Oriv Resto Cafe Bar and opted for their rooftop space, which was spacious, airy, and well-lit, offering a nice view of the metro line on Link Road. The ambiance was pleasant, though the same songs playing on a loop became slightly irritating after a while. Our meal began with Cheesy Fries, a comforting and indulgent start, followed by Kurkure Prawns, which had a perfect crispiness. The Tom Yum Chicken Fry delivered a good balance of spice and tang, while the Chicken Burnt Garlic Kabab had a rich, smoky garlic flavor that stood out. For drinks, we tried the Guava Beach, Lemongrass Cooler, and Mango Boost, all of which were refreshing and complemented our food well. We wrapped up our meal with Veg Green Thai Curry, which had a creamy, aromatic base and was a satisfying main course option. Service was quick and attentive, adding to the overall positive experience. If they could improve the music playlist, it would elevate the atmosphere even more. Overall, a great place for a relaxed rooftop dining experience with good food and drinks.
Orive Resto Cafe Bar offers a delightful dining experience with a mix of great food and a beautiful setting. We opted for the rooftop seating, which provided a fantastic view. The proximity to the metro added a unique charm, as we could occasionally see the trains passing by, making the atmosphere lively and engaging. Food & Drinks We tried a variety of dishes, and overall, the food quality was impressive. Tom Yum Chicken - While it had a good balance of spice and warmth, the lemongrass flavor could have been more prominent. It leaned a bit too much toward tangy and lemony, which slightly overpowered the dish. Chicken Burnt garlic Kebab - This was a standout dish! The fresh burnt garlic flavor complemented the tender, well-cooked chicken beautifully, making it one of our favorites. Green Thai Curry - A comforting and flavorful dish with a smooth coconut-based sauce. Traditionally served with jasmine rice, but here it came with buttered rice, which was a nice twist and added richness to the dish. Prawns Kurkure & Cheesy French Fries - Both were well-made, with the prawns being crispy and well-seasoned, and the fries having a great cheesy indulgence. We also tried a few of their mocktails, and they were refreshing and well-presented: Lemongrass Cooler - A fresh and soothing drink with a citrusy punch. The lemongrass flavor was subtle yet noticeable. Guava Beach - This was a delightful tropical drink with a sweet and slightly tangy guava base. It had a well-balanced taste, neither too sugary nor too sour, making it an easy and enjoyable sip. (The best amongst three) Mango Boots - A rich and creamy mango-based drink that was both refreshing and indulgent. Ambiance & Service The ambiance was undoubtedly one of the highlights, with a relaxing rooftop setup. However, the biggest downside was the repetitive music playlist. We stayed for about two and a half hours, and the same songs played multiple times, which became a bit annoying. When we asked if it could be changed, we were told it wasn't possible for the staff to do so. Also we wanted to try their Bao but we were told that it wasn't available. That was a minor drawback in an otherwise pleasant experience. The service was good, with staff being attentive and ensuring we had everything we needed. Price was Reasonable for the quality of food and setting Would definitely visit again! Hope they might have changed their playlist by then
"Absolutely loved the experience at Oriv resto cafe bar The ambiance was cozy and perfect for a relaxing evening. The food was not only delicious but also beautifully presented - especially the burng garlic chicken , which was just out of this world. The staff was friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for great food and a great vibe. Will definitely visit again
What a wonderful Cafe near Borivali Eksar metro station! It has 2 floors! Ground + 2 floors! There is a disco at the top floor with a sitting area! The ground and first floor has the normal sitting and its very classy too! The food was very very yummy and it had all the trending dishes! We had crystal dumplings, Veg Exotic Pizza, Spice Guava mocktail and Aglio Oglio Pasta! All superr tasty! The ambience was very cool! The staff was maharastrian and very helpful! The dishes were a little pricy but worth it! I highly recommend this and its a must try for all the foodies out there! It had vallet parking and was pet friendly too!
One of the most beautiful restaurant in Borivali with 4 different levels. Ground floor Normal restaurant, 1st floor Live music, 2nd floor DJ music/dance and top floor is an open air roof top. We first went in Rooftop which had an amazing vibe and feel. I feel its the best part of the Restaurant. Then we shifted to 1st floor as my friend was facing problem from the people smoking there. First floor is a normal looking restaurant but with good live music. For food we ordered Burmese Khow Suey Soup first... Which was very tasty and the best dish of the night. Next we ordered Jalapeno Poppers which was ok because it was not hot enough or crispy. Third was the Paneer tikka which was good. Lastly we ordered Sicilia pizza which was strictly ok because it had no taste at all and the crust was very hard. Food wise is in ok good range. Just want to inform that here i had veg dish only so have no idea about the nonveg dishes. But i really liked the vibe and the atmosphere.
Food was great. Due to rush on sundays i got a seat in groundfloor but ambience was good. I haven't had chance to visit their live music floor. But overall great service. I would surely visit next time soon.
