Customer Reviews & Testimonials
It has a variety of dishes. Their Chicken Afghani is especially tasty, and the Al Baik is a must-try. The Chicken Biryani is flavorful and well-cooked. The place is clean, and the service is fast and efficient. A great spot for a quick and satisfying meal!
I recently visited Patel Restaurant on Mohammed Ali Road and was impressed by the experience. The ambiance is simple yet elegant, with air-conditioned seating available. Despite the crowd, the service was quick and efficient . The menu offers a wide variety, including North Indian, Mughlai, Chinese, and seafood dishes . I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and caramel custard, which were flavorful and well-prepared. While the food quality is commendable, I did find the pricing slightly on the higher side compared to the portion sizes . Nonetheless, the overall dining experience was satisfying. If you're in the area and looking for a family-friendly restaurant with a diverse menu, Patel Restaurant is worth a visit.
Hidden Gem for Non-Veg Lovers! Patel Restaurant near Masjid is an absolute delight for anyone who loves non-veg food! The dishes are full of flavor, freshly prepared, and served hot. Their chicken and mutton curries are especially delicious -- rich in taste and perfectly spiced. What makes it even better is how pocket-friendly everything is. You get generous portions without burning a hole in your wallet. The place is simple, clean, and the staff are polite and quick in service. If you're in the area and craving some great non-veg food without spending too much, this is the spot to go!
We went on a Sat afternoon in December. Restaurant was full but we got a table on the first floor in the ac section. It's a crowded area so almost no parking availability. We ordered the Greek salad to start with, it was nice but came without feta. We then had bheja masala fry, with amazingly soft chapatis. The bheja took quite some time to come, maybe 20 mins or so. The washroom was surprisingly clean. All in all, wonderful value for money after a hearty meal.
Yes one of the oldest restaurants in the old Mumbai, Mohammed Ali Road. The Kashmere Khawa is very good. All of the other dishes seem to be good with the crowd over here.
A well rounded restaurant that won't let your taste buds down. Patel restaurant is so underrated. Tried prawn biriyani and mutton biriyani. Very nice and spicy. Must try item... Patel restaurant located on Mohmmad Ali road, a very cozy and busy place. The restaurant has a separate section and the parking is somewhat difficult to find because of the busy street. The seating arrangement is good. washroom available. I tried the Surmai Fish from the Fish Menu. It is really awesome in taste and the quantity is also very good the presentation of the goods is also good. The service experience is very good and quick. Overall it is great place for the food lovers.
I recently dined at Patel restaurant and was thoroughly impressed with the quality of food and service. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great balance of spices and flavors that really brought out the authentic taste of Indian cuisine. The staff was friendly and attentive, ensuring that our experience was enjoyable from start to finish. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a dinner or family gathering. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves food or wants to try it for the first time!
Tuna, Tuna cried the manager after declining it to the waiter, It's our speciality, he said. Fish is it? I asked. Yes, he said! Yes said Dad. SWEET DISH IT WAS! WAS TOO FULL FOR FISH MAIN COURSE after Chicken Chatpatta. Excellent Chicken Chatpatta Manager's recommendation after even recommending SPICY BUTTER CHICKEN, IT MAKES YOU BLEED IN STOMACH, TRIED TWICE AT GULSHAN-E-IRAN, BLED TWICE ! Loaded with Chicken, CHICKEN CHATPATTA had excellent not overly spicy buttery gravy. But Lata Restaurant, has more Butter, check out my review! Equally good is Spice of Mumbai for Spicy Chicken Tikka Masala. Papad was too little, but Dad found it too good so ordered again. Butter Tandoori Roti and Butter Naan were BIGGER than Gulshan-E-Iran at Masjid Bunder, Pritam da Dhabha, Punjab at DADAR, Pavillion (Kandivali) but was NOT BUTTERED ADEQUATELY ONLY ON ONE Piece unlike Jain Surbhi and others. Ambience is lively, large family combined a lot of tables but Lights went off before we reached. Last time we went to Gulshan-E-Iran was bcuz of Lights going off here. Not this time, it came back within a minute. It is going on since many months now. Coming back from wash basin, Dad insteadly said Yes to waiter as he Asked FOR TRYING THE TUNA FISH, A Moment after I declined. A Sweetdish, Kunafa, it was. Dad laughed but was too POLITE to send it back. Kunafa was Milk cream, I doubt if they say its cheese, served with Water, they said it was Rose Water, WARM dessert seasoned with Sev, I guess, Negligible Dry fruits/ Nuts. Good not Sumptuous QUANTITY.
