Sesami

We visited this place on a weekday, so it wasn't crowded. To start, we ordered the non-vegetarian dim sum platter and the non-vegetarian sushi platter. Both were well-presented and tasted good. That said, I'll be honest--my expectations were slightly higher, particularly for the sushi platter, which I felt lacked that "wow" factor. We also tried the beef stir-fry and the pork and shrimp fried rice, which were again satisfying in both taste and presentation. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience, and I'd say the place is definitely worth a visit

In Powai, Sesami is surely one of my favorite restaurants. The location of the restaurant, with its huge windows, brightly colored walls, magnificent chandeliers, and small tea light candles on the tables, makes it a perfect place for a date night. Sesami is an authentic Pan-Asian restaurant offering a variety of sushi, dim sums, soups, salads, curries, appetizers, rice, noodles, and desserts. Each dish is palatable and delightful. The fragrance and taste of the sushi and jasmine rice are commendable, and the presentation of the dishes is top-notch.The service of the restaurant is also fast. The only concern is the lack of dedicated parking space. You need to find a spot in the inner lanes or opt for pay-and-park.

Sesami provided swift service which was very good as we were a group of 12 people. The food was excellent. Everything was explained well as it was my first time ordering sushi. It was very presentable and the taste was awesome. The drinks were very good as well though I would suggest adding a few more options to the mocktails. The surroundings were clean and the ambience was very soothing. The only suggestion would be a little more lighting as it was a bit difficult to read the menu in the area we were sitting. Other than that, it is a great place for a meal.

Amazing pan Asian restaurant serving many good authentic cuisine across Asia.. some of the pretty unique things are available . Ambience is good considering the ambience, presentation, portion size , food quality and taste the price paid is completely worth it.

Really good experience we had in Sesami. The food is delicious. And service is quick and loved the ambience. Definitely visit again in ever be in Powai.

Loved the food, ambience and service. Lots of great vegetarian options including seasonal favourites like the Mango curry which was amazing.

Heat of us today landed up at this restaurant to have a meal together we were treated and show world with wonderful cuisine presentation and service which was absolutely outstanding and sumptuous. The food the platters the soup and the service and the variety colour texture flavours were on authentic and exotic. Yes it is expensive nearly 1500 rupees per person without alcohol and beverage. But at the end of the day we got value for our money and time. We found the time and money was well spent. Thank you

Tried this place expecting authentic Asian flavors, but the food turned out to be more of a desi Chinese style -- heavy on Indian spices and flavors. If you're looking for proper Asian cuisine this might not be the best fit. But if you enjoy Indo-Chinese dishes like chilli paneer or hakka noodles with a spicy Indian twist, you'll probably like it. The ambiance was nice and service was decent, but I was hoping for more authentic Asian taste.
