This is one of the most authentic Japanese restaurants in the Borivali IC colony, just 5 minutes walking distance from IC colony metro station. Since this place is busier during weekends, I reserved it on Zomato. For starters, we had Crab meat soup, Laksa and Veg Miso soup. The soup was warm and had nice chunks of meat and veggies respectively. They have Sushi for 6 & 8 pieces, so we tried their best selling Veg California Roll and Tempura Prawns which was delicious. We had closed Baos, Basil chicken and Cheesy Vegetable, hot steamy and full of taste. We also tried Nigiri which was somewhat okay but a nice experience. They have 2 drinks: Fresh lime and Blue Lagoon. After the break, we tried their Yakitori Chicken satay which had wholesome chicken on small skewers and a little soy. For the main course we tried their Pot noodles both Veg and Non veg, smooth and tasty. They have 3 desserts but I recommend Lotus cheesecake, smooth, tempting and delicious. The food is costly but worth the price if you'll pay with Zomato dinning. Please visit this place to get an awesome Japanese experience.

Wonderful Asian restaurant in Borivali I have been to many pan Asian restaurant, YUI was amazing We had good options of Sushi dim sum also the noodles and the gravy were amazing The pork dishes were top notch I rated 1 stars I expected hard drinks and valet parking most pan Asian restaurants provide Qualities excellent Do note there is a parking issue, the restaurant is right in front of the metro, weekends can have good waiting, rest all good. Do recommend.

Went around 10.30pm on a Sunday night. Although Zomato gave a confirmed booking the guy at the door refused to acknowledge booking and said half an hour wait time at least. Ok. So next question was weather they accept payment through Zomato which gives at least 20% discount, the answer was NO. So that was second surprise. Third surprise we were seated without any wait, so didn't understand why the hype or was it all to save the Zomato discounts. Food was served hot, and Prawns tempura, Yakitori Chiken satay were yummy. The Tom Kha soup in veg was refreshing but the chef's recommended stir fry asian vegetables was a damper, as it tasted bitter and gravy was too bland. Also not served hot as we asked waiter to bring after soup. Fourth surprise was the lotus cheese cake, as we were explained, by the same guy at the gate who also doubles as a waiter, that all over restaurants, the lotus cheese cake is just ice cream which looks like cheese cake. That's not ok and not recommended. Service was fast and served on plate. Even the plates changed for the main course. They don't levy a service charge which was a pleasant surprise. Ambience is ok as the restaurant is not that big and capacity is approx 30 pax Overall worth a visit for Asian delicacies.

Good pan-Asian cuisine catering to an Indian palate. YUI is located right below the IC Colony metro station, so it's kinda easy to miss. The interiors are very tastefully done, but more of a dinner ambience. We went for lunch one day and the place was completely empty. They seem to get a lot of online orders so be prepared to wait for your food. As for the food itself, everything is on the spicier side, well suited to an Indian palate. Even the Miso soup which is usually bland was quite hot and spicy! Sushi is good and fairly large portions for the price they charge. Try the Avocado sushi. They seem to use good quality ingredients. The udon noodles we ordered turned out to be just plain Hakka noodles. So not very authentic, but I guess most Indians won't even notice it. The menu is exhaustive but I'm quite convinced that nothing is authentic. Very much influenced by the Hakka style of Indo-Chinese cooking. Good vegetarian options too. Service is kinda slow during daytime which is expected but perhaps it perks up for dinner service. Overall a great place to bring family. Even elders might enjoy the food.

Good food, If you are starting off with exploring Japanese cuisine then this can be a decent place to begin with. The spread and taste is good, A go to place for dumplings and sushi in the nearby vicinity. The Restaurant is bit cramped up, so one may face issue with space

Ok, I'm editing my review after my second visit. Everything was fine. Service was quick, food was good. Great ambiance, luckily it was a candle night setting (every Tuesday). Please see the pictures of food we eat and the bill for prices. The Korean Chicken was very good. It was so good that we ordered it twice. The same kind of food will cost you 3 to 4 times more if this was a SoBo joint, so make the most of it people.

The restaurant is on the link road opp to mandapeshwar metro station. The ambience is good. It's a small place with good service. We ordered Cantonese style manchow soup it was good, prawns tempura open bao (closed bao was not available). This was also very tasty, crispy pork belly with bok choy - Although it was not crispy the taste was excellent. The meat was tender and yummy. The portion was less for the price. We ordered Thai chicken chilli - it was also yummy. We ordered udon noodles it was so good. Overall the food served was excellent. The quality is very good.

The place will take you to Japan especially if you love the ambience as shown in the anime. Apart from that the food is soo awesome and fulfilling. Loved going on a dinner date
