SHANKAR SAOJI BHOJNALAYA & FAMILY RESTAURANT

It was my first time I visited this Shankar Saoji Bhojnalaya and Family Restaurant. It was good experience for me food was amazing I order Mutton Saoji Rassa ,Dal Kanda, prawns, it was very tasty with Tawa Roti . Excellent mutton dishes. Chicken dishes was good too. The taste and flavour are traditional Maharashtrian. They cook as per your spice level. Very fast delivery. Always have a fresh food. Loved all the dishes. Mostly crowded and the waiting time is 15-20 minutes. Separate section available for families. Parking place is available. If you are in Nagpur then this is must place to try saoji chicken and mutton.

Walking into Shankar Saoji feels like soaking in Zaika Nagpurka. The rustic dhaba-style vibe, simple setup, and aroma of spices set the tone for a true Saoji experience. We dived into their Paneer Saoji and Paneer Khas Khas expecting fire on the plate. Instead, the spice levels were surprisingly mild--but no complaints! The super-soft paneer, earthy gravy, and nutty richness of the Khas Khas made every bite worth it. A slight downside--generous oil in the curries, but it didn't take away from the flavor bomb that hit our taste buds. A couple of friends who went for the non-veg options gave a thumbs-up to the Desi Chicken, saying it lived up to the hype. Ordered Vegetarian food for some Vegetarian friends, but there was too much oil in dal tadka, tasteless baigan sabji. Roti were also thick. Shankar saoji has Disappointed this time

Authentic Saoji food .Saoji mutton is excellent. They serve you tawa fresh Phulka's which are great .Food is quite spicy and if they can reduce chilly if you tell them .

Awesome Saoji food served with Bhakri .... As usual the food was oily but super tasty, if you are one of those sensitive to animal cruelty non veg eaters don't go there as they display the birds at the entrance giving you the option of picking one, if you are a hardcore non veg this is the place for you.

Definitely not for health conscious people. They put so much oil on each and every dish they surve. Yesterday 6th June 2024 I went to this restaurant 1st time. I took out 1 bowl oil from three dishes, 1 down oil from the dishes I took home. My God if u eat such food I d9nt know what will happen to u in a month.

Took parcel for mutton curry and khur. Mutton curry was overcooked and mutton n bones were completely apart. Khur pieces are small in size. Cost is high and quality is not there. Better to avoid this place.

Great food, Fast service, Well priced Very nice people Ample space. Large menu to choose from. A must try when in Nagpur.
