Navaratna Veg Restaurant

The restaurant has two sections--an air-conditioned section on the first floor and a non-AC section on the ground floor. Restaurant menu features a variety of dishes, including three types of thalis: 1.Thali with Plain Rice 2. Thali with Pulao 3. Deluxe Thali We opted for the "Thali with Pulao", priced at Rs. 265, which included the following items: 1. Special Dry Veg 2. Special Gravy Veg 3. Dal Fry 4. Pulao 5. Sweet: Mango Barfi 6. Papad 7. Buttermilk (Chaas) 8. 2 Rotis / 2 Chapatis / 4 Puris 9. Pickle, Onions and Lemons The quantity was more than enough and overall quality was good except dry veg (Cauliflower). Service was good and chilled drinking water was served.

I have been going to Navratna from 2008 for there tasty tea and south indian specialities. The place is just huge with equal amount of helping staff, waiters and managers. However, past 2-3 years the restaurant has lost its charm in the food quality. The food has been pathetic to be honest. So much oil and such bland taste, it actually feels like all the food items have the same base gravy which itself is pretty bland. Very disappointed with the way downfall of the quality of food. We complained about the amount of grease in our food, but the managers just turned blind eye to the matter and ignored us. We paid the bill but they didn't return us the copy of the paid bill.

I had a great breakfast at this restaurant, and the ambiance was fantastic. We tried the South Indian options - the masala dosa was delicious, the tomato onion uttapam was incredibly flavorful, and the medu vada was good. We ended our meal with filter coffee, which was just perfect. The restaurant is well-maintained with clean washrooms, though parking could be a challenge for four-wheelers. Overall, a wonderful experience!

Been there tonight after almost a decade for a veg thali remembering the delicious taste which they had to offer last time around. Boy o boy i need to tell you guys that the prices have increased drastically but the quality and quantity has decreased by miles. Pathetic quality of food. I bet we prepare better food at home every single day without much of efforts. Dude (The owner) buckle up. Competition is increasing each passing day. Just the brand name is NOT good enough anymore. You need to also be consistent in maintaining quality (if not up the standard) for survival. NOT visiting again even in my nightmare. All the best buddy!!

I love Navratna restaurant. One of the best old South Indian restaurant. I been visiting for almost 40++ years. Service, food quality, cleanliness, speed of service n staff developing deserves 5 star n they continue maintain this standard. Highly recommended restaurant off Vashi.

After a very bad experience at Kamath's Legacy, this restaurant provided the best and fast service. Even food was good

Like the restaurant which is a pure vegetarian restaurant. You can definitely consider whether you search for a restaurant in Vashi. The ambiance is good. Food is OK. When you order starters, I recommend you ask the waiters how much time will take for some particular items. We experienced a 30 min waiting time for 'Baby Corn Kaliwada'. The ice cream parlour on the ground floor is another attraction.

Ummm... I came here after people spoke highly of this place! To start with... they send the wrong order... aloo matar instead of paneer masala! Then they asked me if it is okay or do I ACTUALLY want my original order? I mean... seriously? The new order is taking forever! Nobody seems to have a clue and it's a badly managed place! Try at you and your family's own risk ! Food is way below average
