We are visiting from Tamilnadu and had our first taste of Maharashtrian thali at Durvankur dining hall Pandharpur. Full marks for taste. Service was very judicious but the requested quantity was served anyway. Price is surely on the higher side but one can try this one time for sure.
Nice place, they serve good food. But no proper wash rooms available..
We accidentally came here and we had to believe that everything happens for good reason. We are from Nashik and we all found the food so unique and tasty. Service was also truly amazing. It's all worth it to visit this place. We all are in love with custard.
Duravnkur Dining Hall has a very friendly owner but the food is below average and tastes very bland.
On Holi Pournima, I had my lunch there with my family. For 3 Thalis and 2 water bottles he charged me 850 rupees. I got stale food. Worst quality food. I don't recommend it to any one. Just skip this restaurant. It is not worthy of the brand Durwankur of Pune. Pathetic food quality.
Delicious thali, one of the best in Maharashtra. What makes it so unique ? They have more than 5 different varieties of chutneys. The vegetables, dal are simple yet flavourful. A truly wholesome meal
We had taken a lunch break at this place where they serve only thali which is unlimited except the custard. We stepped in thinking it was a normal restaurant where you can order whatever you want but wasn't. However, being disappointed at first, the quantity as well as the quality of the food then justified the price of it. The people who run this are very friendly and will literally treat you as if you are their relative. Do try their chutneys and bhajis...they're really worth it.....don't forget their creamy fruit custard.
Nice experience having authentic vegetarian Maharashtra style thali. Taste was very good.
