Recommended for authentic maharashtrian food preparations! Their gavran(country/desi) chicken dishes are very popular. Pithla and bhakhri with thecha was very delicious. Their matki fry is a must try snacks. Overall great service and value for money.

I visit this place quite regularly. It's on highway from Pune to Mumbai. Good place to have Chicken Mutton Desi curry. Best this to have is their TUPATALE GAVATHI CHICKEN super blast. Mutton alano soup is also tasty. It has two separate halls for family and Stags. Take a Bhakri and Dip into GAVATHI Rassa. Ohh my god. Absolutely heaven. I found staff in Family section is more attentive and Polite. Overall food rate is little on higher side. Beer and Liquor is readonably priced. Good place to have food with family or Friends.

If you are looking for authentic Maharashtrian Cuisine (gaavraan jevnn) specially bhakri with non veg, veg you can head here. The restuarant cannot be missed on the main road towards Wakad bridge, bhujbal vasti area. Entrance n ambiance was attractive, The seating is on the 1st floor with parking on the ground floor & outside too Spacias and airy arrangement Good option for family friends get together. Since We went for Lunch n ordered many dishes like veg non veg mix food, besan, mataki usal,mutton biryani, egg masala and egg curry jira rice etc. I found the quantity to be ok though food tastes better, there is chance to improve Staff is co oprative and prompt in service also. You don't need to book table earlier as it's not crowded.

Though this restaurant is on main road, It has good ambience, but taste is not upto the mark. I went yesterday to had a dinner with my family, It took long time to get orders, no proper response from the waiters, they serve very spicy food even after instructions. I don't recommend this restaurant at all. Pls avoid it.

I had chicken curry for dinner late at night and found it very tasty. The staff is well mannered and serving food so late is appreciable. Ambience is also good. It is one of the oldest restaurants in Pune which is famous for non-veg. Must visit and enjoy its taste.

Lunch was excellent with a good mix of veg and non-veg options. The curries were rich in flavor, and the breads were fresh and soft. Great taste and generous portions!

If you like the flavor of the pure gavran chicken (it's not boiler chicken) .. Then this place is for you... Ambiance : it's a good kind of wada style with an old maharaja style place. I liked it, its value for money on ambiance.. Liked it and saw one mango tree with lots of mangos on it.. Some old vibes.. Service : Quick service as menu is limited to very specific items.. So you will get very quick service with good knowledge to the captain on the menu. So they can suggest you some items based on your request. Food : main thing here is old style gavran Maharashtra taste.. If you are expecting some punjabi taste it's best to avoid this restaurant.. So we have ordered gavran chicken masala.. It was absolutely best in taste.. It's semi thik gravy.. Superb in taste.. Also ordered paneer khima it was spicy and unique in taste(not a punjabi taste).. Main thing is wheat roti (tava chapati) was hot and smooth.. You just can't go wrong with it.. Any gravy will taste superb.. Masala papad was good , jira rice was good with fresh coriander taste in it. Overall best place for gavran chicken and mutton... Just give a try if you are non-veg lover.
