Drunken Waiters Serving Poorly! Hotel Jayashri on Pune Alandi Road near Charholi Budruk advertises itself as a family-friendly establishment offering a variety of veg and non-veg dishes in a traditional khanawal style. However, our recent visit was quite disappointing. We ordered two chicken thalis, one chicken handi, and one veg thali, and the experience left much to be desired. I'm giving 1 Star so that the owner will work on delivering their promise. The chicken thali was served cold, which did not justify its taste. The soup served in small bowl was also cold & had minimal quantity and no pieces inside, and the chicken fry pieces were also cold. The bhakri was the only good part, But they didn't have an option for Jowar Bhakri & Naan roti, Rassa served was also cold so we asked for hot rassa so they were given hot rassa, but we were unable to eat properly because no extra dish was given for it, not that they took the cold rassa back. The chicken handi, which the owner claimed was sufficient for four people to be full, was barely sufficient for two, so everyone got little quantity. Additionally, the kala masala they advertise was just normal chicken masala, lacking in authentic taste. The veg thali was particularly bad. Our vegetarian friend didn't finish the dish because he disliked every single item, and the dahi was not good he said. There were few waiters that seemed drunk, & their efficiency was lacking & service was extremely slow, taking over half an hour for our order to arrive despite there being no other new customers in the hotel. The advertised unlimited thali was misleading, and the service was so slow that those who waited for unlimited items ended up disappointed. The rice was served in a very small bowl that didn't satisfy our hunger although ok in taste. When some friends asked for more roti, they were initially given only two, and later told that roti was no longer available. Overall, Hotel Jayashri fails to deliver on its promises and is not worth a visit if you are planning with family. If you still don't believe what I have said Please visit on weekdays so you will realise what I'm talking about.

The food, especially the non-vegetarian dishes tastes completely homemade with a perfect blend of spices and just the right level of heat. I have tried both the Chicken Thali and the Fish Thali and both were delicious. The ambience is decent though not exceptional but the service is a bit slow as the restaurant has just recently opened. Hopefully, they will improve this over time. The owner is quite friendly and approachable making the dining experience more pleasant. Additionally there is plenty of parking space availablewhich is a convenient feature for guests. The Chicken Thali is rich and flavorful, with tender pieces of chicken cooked to perfection while the Fish Thali offers a delightful combination of crispy and succulent fish paired with well-seasoned accompaniments. Despite the slow service, the staff are courteous and attentive ensuring that diners feel welcome and comfortable. The restaurant's homey feel, combined with its delicious food makes it a great place to enjoy a meal with family and friends. With a few improvements in service speed this place has the potential to become a local favorite.

I brought an Egg Curry parcel but I don't understand that there was water in Curry or Curry in water. Too much tasteless.... Waste of money especially in egg curry...

Not recommended at all... uncooked chicken, taste of chicken is lower than average.... slightly good for Fish thali..1 star for food Quality

Taste wise food is awesome. Staff is polite and welcoming. Not just chicken thali but the veg thali also tastes good. With thali not only rassa but the Bhakri/Chapati/Roti whatever you will have is unlimited(will not cost u a penny even of u have more than three which we get with one thali) . Indrayani rice from thali tastes awesome. Sitting arrangement is bhartiya baithak(sit down n eat). Good Parking space is available. Price of thali is affordable(210-250) for chicken thali. Veg thali is 140 rs. With respect to price the food is very very good.

Good taste, superb quality, authentic Maharashtrian taste. Ambiance was ok ok. Mutton was really nice, both aalani & spicy rassa was also good. Taste - 5/5 Service -5/5 Food quality -5/5 Portion -5/5 Prices range -5/5

Great hotel with a separate family dining arrangement. The food is authentic and absolutely delicious. We ordered Mutton Thalis, which I would rate a perfect 5/5. The service was exceptional, with staff personally attending to every customer, making us feel like part of the family. The thali offers unlimited servings of everything except the Mutton/Chicken pieces. One phrase I remember from owner: 'pottbhr jevaa, ghs mojuu nkaa'. Have seen lots of improvements in past few months in aspect of Service and Atmosphere.
