Ahhaa. Just Awesome. It proves its name. If you want to feel the proper old type hotel , then you must visit it. You have quite a wait for your order. It's always crowded with Official Workers. Food is awesome. Delicious And a big part is they have their own parking.

This restaurant is very old. My parents told me that they used visit this restaurant whenever they were near this place. I got a chance to visit this place. The place is in Shivaji Nagar area and was crowded but we managed to get the table easily. Food: We ordered their Veg Thali, Masala Dosa, Onion Uttapam and Special Veg Pizza. - Veg Thali contains 3 Subji, Rassam, Daal, Rice, Dahi Wati, One Sweet Dish, 2 Roti, Papad and Glass of Buttermilk. All items very good but not great but the quantity was huge. - Masala Dosa and Onion Uttapam was tasty and had a good portion. Within ordered food items these 2 were the best. - Special Veg Pizza had a lot of veggies and on top of that Cheese. This was Ok not the best. Ambience: Ambience was nice. Not the best but simple and neat. Service was bit slow. We always had to call the waiter. Price: Food is cheaper here compared to the other restaurants in that area. Quality and Quantity is good compared to price. Overall it was a nice experience. Parent enjoyed their old memories. As per their feedback taste has changed but still it's good. May be Punjabi Cuisine is best. We haven't tried that. So you can definitely visit this place once.

South Indian dishes are best. But I will recommend not to try juices and cold coffee. It's not worth trying them. Otherwise the service is good and the atmosphere in the restaurant is also good. Visited again and ordered Modern Spl Pav bhaji. The special was that it was served with some cherry and stuff on top of the Bhaji. If you love sweet type of pav bhaji then this is for you, but I love spicy food so will not recommend the spicy food lovers

Terrible experience. I entered the hotel and found the table dirty; it took them 5 minutes just to clean it. The waiter handed me the menu but didn't even offer water--I had to ask for it myself. Then I waited another 5 minutes for him to take my order. It felt like he had no interest in serving me just because I was dining alone. I even waved at him twice, but he ignored me. Eventually, I had to leave and look for another place to eat.

An upscale restaurant near COEP hostel. It is spacious and has parking options. Food is really tasty and presentable. We had lunch here and it was an amazing experience.

We tried south indian breakfast...it was good.

Modern Cafe is a gem with awesome food. Their Cheese Mysore Masala Dosa and Paper Masala Dosa are must-tries, both packed with flavor. The Punjabi Thali is another highlight, offering three gravies, one sweet, roti, rice, tomato soup, and chaas - all at a very pocket-friendly price. The only downside is the lack of parking space, which can be a bit challenging to find. Despite this, the delicious food and affordable prices make it worth the visit. Do try!

I'm the biggest fan of this place. Must try cassata sundae one of my favorite dessert. And also it is famous for south Indian dishes like dosa, idli and all.... Prices are also affordable... I had one the biggest dosa in my life here. Everytime I visit here experience is awsome. Don't worry about ur vehicle also, they've their separate area for parking... Visit once to have good time with ur buddies.
